CAIR is back in the news, trying to shut down dissemination of copies of Obsession via an ad-like insert. Some papers have refused to include the insert including one in North Carolina. Two videos below uploaded to YouTube by CAIRtv. I posted on the campaign and did a review of Obsession here.
CAIR previously distributed a communication targeting the movie's distribution this Fall.
CAIR is calling on anyone who received the “Obsession” DVD in their newspaper to contact the papers publishers to ask why they believe it is appropriate to profit from anti-Muslim hate.
ACTION REQUESTED: (As always, be firm but POLITE. Hostile comments can and will be used to further defame Islam and Muslims.)
1. LOOK IN THE NEWSPAPER OR ON ITS WEBSITE for appropriate contact information.
2. CONTACT the newsroom, the editorial page and circulation.
3. ASK WHY the newspaper believed it was appropriate to profit from anti-Muslim hate.
4. ASK WHO PAID for the distribution and how much it cost.
5. ASK WHETHER the newspaper would have distributed anti-Semitic or other racist DVDs.
6. ASK IF the distribution of the DVD in key election swing states was designed to aid a particular candidate.
7. Let CAIR know what responses are given by the newspapers representatives. E-Mail: info@cair.com
[NOTE: CAIR and other groups are formulating a broader pro-active response to the “Obsession” campaign, but these are some small actions that those who actually received the DVD can take today.]

Muslim terrorism can only be solved by Muslims. There is a large Muslim population that believe it is fine to murder infidels and even other Muslims. The supposed "moderates" are nonexistent. They sit on the sidlines and do nothing at best and root on the jihadis at worse.
Until massive numbers of Muslims start turning on these terrorists and clean their houses, mosques and nations of these murderers, no Muslims should be trusted.
They are either for us or against us. Sitting on the sidelines means they are not with us and should not be trusted.CAIR wants to help these jihadis stay under cover, protecting them.

My understanding is that Muslims MUST believe the Quran is the literal word of God for all time, perfect and unchangeable, etc, his plan for mankind. To question or argue against anything in the Quran is to question God, to commit heresy; it's a blatant refusal to submit to God's will (and the word 'Islam" means 'submission'). Additionally, my understanding is that the Quran says God's perfect plan for humankind is that the world and all its people will eventually live in peace under Islam, under the new Caliphate.
Therefore, a good Muslim might not actually participate in violent jihad himself, but he almost certainly wouldn't do anything to prevent God's Plan For Humanity to come to fruition. I would say that most Muslim immigrants to the West are among the "wait and see if this is the era in which Islam emerges supreme, inshallah" group.
