An, ... um, professional journalist wrote Michelle Malkin a most troubling email today.
and i have to say, from one pinay journalist to another, you embarrass me and you embarrass our people.
i’m sorry the US media has used you, larry elders and other conservative drones of color to bolster their quota numbers.
Networks have "quotas" for conservatives now? How special is that! Right. And love the no caps from professional journalist Albano. But we should cut her some slack. She's simply upset due to the over all direction of the news media as a whole. Though what she is saying without knowing it is, heck, we're all liberal in media, why not let it show!
Olberman and Matthews demoted for doing their job -- Leilani Albano
There is perhaps little chance of NBC returning Olberman to his anchor seat during the presidential races, despite his widespread popularity. But by not doing so, the networks will be losing out on his show's high ratings.
Rather than trying to appease the Right with Gregory's dispassionate coverage, NBC should be looking to Olberman as the future of reporting.
His mixing of the news with opinion on "Countdown" has given the cable networks a new style of journalism in the US that has attracted viewers. Why resort back to legacy journalism's standard of objectivity, if doing so would not only lead to a smaller viewership but less engaging political coverage?
It's about time that NBC owe up to its liberal leanings and give Olberman back his anchor position.
By allowing Olberman to reveal his biases on the issues, the network will not only bring back life to the news, but also provide viewers more truthful and transparent coverage.
Well, she's correct on the transparency issue.

Olbermann and his lesbian soul mate should be set adrift on an ice floe in northern Canada.
Oh wait, all that hot air would increase glow-bull warming.

A taxpayer voting for Obama is like a chicken voting for Col Sanders....
Do we really want a radical, left winger in the white house?

"Olbermann and his lesbian soul mate should be set adrift on an ice floe in northern Canada."
What a fine CHRISTIAN. Doctor/Snake Oil Salesman Chuck Baldwin would be proud of you.
I will sleep well tonight that Jesus rewarded you with a crappy job and a mail order bride.

Bobby:
And ole Keithie boy is such a fine Christian himself, right??

Bobby, me boy, I am certainly not perfect, and I do admit that I have a deep dislike for such "honest and balanced" journo-twists as Olbermann and Maddow.
But even you would have to pick up on the satire of setting certain disagreeable folks adrift on ice floes in Canada.
Unfortunately, I do take a guilty pleasure in watching *some* telly every now and then, and that one episode of South Park where the silly Canadian politicians were set adrfit stuck in my memory.
So please, lighten up, will ya?
I'll tell you what: in deference to your (presumed) "preference", I'll make a better attempt at not picking on Ms. Madcow and Mr. A. Sullivan on account of their perversion and proclivities for strange flesh, if you can tone down your general nastiness to folks here.
As for the job and wife, I am quite content with, and enjoy the first, and I dearly love the second... and I'd be careful not to impugn her origins. Chances are pretty good that she (being of good breeding - a very important thing amongst Japanese) has quite a bit more wealth than you might think - and an uncanny wisdom as to how to use it.
She's a pretty smart cookie when it comes to investing, and our investment portfolio has grown quite nicely, in no small part due to her diligent guidance... even in this less than ideal economy.
And as for Dr. Baldwin, you might want to check him out: you and he would at least see eye-to-eye on ending the war and needless deployment of our military to over 130 nations.

Keith OlberFührer is the hands down champion of the spittle flecked diatribe.
If he is the future of the media I'm the pope!
Journalistic Integrity be damned I want ratings! The only problem is that no one in their "right" mind watches that cable rag.
It has the been more fun than a barrel full of moonbats watching these trolls piss themselves over Palin.
They've been watching the god king Xerxes self-implode for weeks now.
George and his checkbook are there for the hit pieces and the troll lingerers like some of the douchbags posting here. But hey a Chicago hack like Barry needs to help his buddies earn their paychecks after all.

Ya know what, Sac?
MSNBC may have sought to use Olberdoofus and Madcow to balance out O'Reilly on Fox News. That's a twofer, mind you... and the problem is (for the lefty nutters, that is) that those two take themselves so completely seriously with their spittle-flecking and high declamations of utter disgust at the "Regime", that it is really actually rather comical.
O'Reilly, while he does come off as a bit pompous at times, knows who he is and can play his role off rather well - almost always keeping control.
Rush - who'd be an analog of Maddow from that massive bucket of fail called "Air America", is also quite over the top, *but* he seldom takes himself that seriously. He is what he is - an entertainer who provides some useful information.
That's what it boils down to: Libs really have no sense of humour at all, unless of course, it involves people getting seriously injured or killed.
