Will these idiots never learn? They actually believe they still have a monopoly on the news? In a prudent and not a victim-ish manner, Palin needs to elevate this into the news cycle next week. She should simply question why it seems important elements of her ABC interview were left on the cutting room floor while acknowledging their right to edit. She doesn't want to come off as whining, but simply pointing it out. Other networks will eat that up. And the American people have a right to know.
EXCERPTS: Charlie Gibson Interviews Sarah Palin (September 11, 2008)
THE BOLDED & UNDERLINED PARTS WERE EDITED OUT OF THE INTERVIEW

Wiki On Charlie "The Bafunna" Gibson
Gibson graduated from Princeton University where he was news director for the university radio station, WPRB-FM and a member of Princeton Tower Club. He now serves on Princeton's Board of Trustees. Originally, Gibson planned to go into law, but reconsidered when he determined his grades were not sufficient for top tier law schools.
Hmmmm poor grades...not smart enough...and a Princeon grad...gee I guess that answers the question...He tried to look so smart and serious...he would have been more honest if he wore a dright orange wig and big red nose...what a clown

Hmm...looks like to me he did some snipping to make himself look good on the cocktail circuit.

Hmmm Gibson not so smart, huh? Well maCaine finsished second from the bottom of the class, and Bush was a legacy selection at Tale - and was a poor student. Then Bush went on to ruin three seperate businesses, only to be bailed out by his Dad and friends.

Gibson’s first John Edwards interview after he was nominated for vice president came on the September 2, 2004 Good Morning America, on the Thursday morning of the Republican convention in New York.
--------
Charles Gibson Interviews John Edwards
Democratic Vice-Presidential Nominee
September 2, 2004
GIBSON: Senator Edwards, they went at you hammer and tong last night from the podium here at this Republican Convention...I wonder how you felt as you listened.
GIBSON: Did it make you in any way second-guess the decision at the Democratic Convention not to mention George Bush from the podium so often, not to engage as directly?
CHARLES GIBSON: They get into this theme about John Kerry's conflicting votes on various issues. How are you going to answer that?
GIBSON: This crowd was chanting "flip-flop" last night. It is this elemental issue that they're trying to make that there are two John Kerrys, citing his conflicting votes on a number of issues.
GIBSON: You speak with such equanimity this morning. Didn't they make you mad last night?
GIBSON: Did you get mad, though?
GIBSON: John Edwards, good to talk to you. Thanks very much.

Interviews for news storys in print or for broadcast or telecast are always edited.
Always.
Its not something ABC invented to get Ms Palin.
In other news:
"McCain aide Kimmie Lipscomb told reporters on Sept. 10 that an outdoor rally in Fairfax City, Virginia, drew 23,000 people, attributing the crowd estimate to a fire marshal.
Fairfax City Fire Marshal Andrew Wilson said his office did not supply that number to the campaign and could not confirm it. Wilson, in an interview, said the fire department does not monitor attendance at outdoor events."
I wonder if they just made them numbers up - call 'em the crowds to nowhere.

We know that. If you cannot see the bias in the editing then you yourself are biased.

I have briefly looked at Mark Levin's site and I cannot find any sources for this. Anyone know where he acquired the transcript/video?
I have many friends on the fence right now, and uncorroborated blog articles do not help in the discussions. Without the sources, blog articles are dismissed by this crowd as being as partisan propaganda, just are any DU and DK garbage. Thank the Lord they are at least looking for proof on stuff.
Thanks for any help!

The “Bush Doctrine” question, among others was unprofessional. Mr. Gibson didn’t know enough about the “Bush Doctrine” to field a question. Mr. Gibson had to answer Governor Palin’s question about specifics, with yet another question. Either Charlie Gibson was unprepared to articulate the “Bush Doctrine,” or so intent was he on leading the interview or both, that when Ms. Palin asked for clarification Charlie blew it. By tossing the erroneous question back into her lap, Mr. Gibson appeared at least a lazy journalist. So, I’m not surprised Charlie Gibson misquoted the prayer either. Sarah Palin did an excellent job of articulating her take on the “Bush Doctrine.” Don’t do your homework, it’ll show. And, I noticed the demeaning TV camera techniques. One might have expected a hint of impartiality; instead of having to do a double take, to see whether in fact Gibson hadn’t sawed the legs off Ms. Palin’s chair: http://theseedsof9-11.com
