The Right's already in love with her and the Left is just sputtering talking points.

Talk about a split in the Democrat Party - in order to attack her they have to do everything that will tick-off Hillary supporters. They'll attack Palin, no doubt. But every time they do one more member of an important demographic will slip away.

The leftist bloggers are completely missing the point on McCain's pick for VP. Not sure if they realized this but McCain does: They aren't voting for him so why would he want to select a VP that liberal bloggers are going to like? Didn't realize they were expecting him to select someone Daily Koz would celebrate. So really who cares what they think. Well I'd like to know what they really think but they're never going to write that.

The point they are missing is that McCain at best was expected to select someone that the base would be sorta be ok with. You know, no one to really get excited about. Tim Kaine was not qualified to be VP because he had only been Gov. for 3 years (longer than Palin) and prior to that his only exec. experience was being mayor of Richmond (25x larger than Wasilla).

The pick is a riot. While trying to pick up disgruntled HRC voters McCain has likely just pushed them to Obama. The fact that she has 2 X chromosomes isn't enough to fool them.
