Pelosi: I Could Use A Good Drilling ... Bill

Relax, she's talking oil and there are no photos involved.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Monday night dropped her staunch opposition to a vote on offshore oil drilling in the House.

Republicans, reacting to high gas prices, have demanded a vote on additional oil exploration in the Outer Continental Shelf, where drilling is currently blocked by a moratorium. Until now, Pelosi (D-Calif.) has resisted the idea as a “hoax.” But in an interview on CNN’s Larry King Live, she indicated that she was open to a vote.

“They have this thing that says drill offshore in the protected areas,” Pelosi said. “We can do that. We can have a vote on that.”

If she doesn't allow an up/down vote the vast majority of Americans will finally see this congress for what it is "The Worst Congress in History".

She and Harry have tried to steamroll their leftist agenda for 2 years to no avail.

First, they failed to stop the war and we are winning dispite everything they could do to ensure failure.

Second, they capitulated on FISA after they whined and bitched about the evil police state.

They have wasted more time on naming post offices than doing the peoples work.

I'm a little more worried about the near absolute certainty Obama will win (by however small a margin) along with clearing supermajorities in both houses of Congress that will ensure an arch-leftist SCOTUS for generations to come, should any of our esteemed justices depart the bench.

It seems the the conspiracy theorists both here and abroad are convinced that the Powers That Be™ (the Bilderbergers, the Rockefellers, the Rothschilds, the CFR, and all the other usual gang of financial elites) who Secretly Manipulate the Rise and Fall of Nations™ selected Obama for us back in 2007.

And us dumb American Sheeple™ who are much more obsessed with the celebrity marketing values of the POTUS candidates, and which starlets have "baby bumps" as opposed to rejecting both of these boneheads for a true leader of character... will fall for it without much tinkering with the Diebolds or calling up legions of dead people or illegal Mexicans or double voters to confuse the vote.

I can't help but to be very bearish on this festival of dreck raining from the political heavens, since those who have influence and power have all but crowned Mr. Diversity-Change-Hope as our next emperor.
