A disagreement? Oh no, the horror...

I am not and was never a Hillary supporter, however, I can truly understand the anger and frustration they are feeling now.

I understand that, until recently, they were still hoping for a dream ticket.

But to learn that their chosen candidate was never even considered as a VP choice, must be making them livid.

I think this convention is going to be quite entertaining.

Get out the popcorn.

They need to grow up. From a political perspective it almost never makes sense to take on you chief rival as a runningmate. Particularly when the campaign was somewhat nasty at times. They have a choice, suck it up and support Obama or enjoy four more years of Bush.

There is another choice, an open convention.

"There is another choice, an open convention."

The GOP would love that.

Clinton supporters would love it more.

Heh. More old cougars (or "PUMAs") voting for Bush III, eh?

As for the convention, this could get entertaining as the knives come out and the Dems consume each other just in time to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory... one of the things Dems consistently do quite well as a party.

Well, it finally happened, progressives for peace and civil rights (read rabid savages) attack Fox News crew to stop coverage of protests.

SMACKDOWN! Bring it on!!! Popcorn anyone?

Biden will give Obama Delaware. 3 electoral votes. And that is all. Nothing more.
Also I seem to remember Kennedy being smart enough to hold his nose and select Lyndon Johnson. He would not have won without him. So Obama could have taken Hillary if he really wanted to be sure of a victory. Johnson and Kennedy hated each other but not enough that they didnt see the political necessity of Johnson being on that ticket in 1960.

Lol, that was hardly an attack...I love it how he kept saying "don't you believe in free speech?" Does free speech mean you HAVE to talk to Fox News?

Does free speech mean you can push journalists around and chant slogans to drive them off? Welcome to rule by liberals.

Change????? Biden with 36 years in the Senate and a record of minimal if any accomplishments... besides being there for 36 years???

Wow...Obama is really going to change things...Are the Dumbocrats really this stupid???

JOM...

Shoving a camera back into someone's face is assault. Welcome to the liberal mob.

Lol, walk against the flow of traffic and you're going to get pushed a little. I'm not thrilled by those protesters but that could hardly be called an attack.

Keep covering for them, Spart. But why aren't you with them going with the flow?

We need a new name for this activity, commenting to cover for the brave protesters but staying at the keyboard safe and sound..."chicken nuts" maybe.

Hey Fred I hate to ever agree with the trolls but that guy from FOX is a pushy little twit. He looks and acts just like the moonbats he is running around with just without the tongue studs and tats and they don't wear a tie like he does.

Come on this is all about party unity here and Barry is the great uniter. Bill and Hillary are no where close to being over this and they never will be. They may put up the front but in the end if they could screw Barry over without it coming back on them don't doubt for a second that they would throw him to the sharks!

By half-ass endorsing Barry and hoping for his eventual failure she sets herself up for 2012. She will be able to go back and say "see I tried to tell you he wasn't ready". She know that if he gets elected and has two terms she is history and hell hath no fury like a pissed off Clinton!

I'm not covering for anybody, but wow talk about a non-story. You wingers must be really desperate.

"You wingers must be really desperate."
These libs are so pathetic they can't even invent their own charges anymore. They simply use charges we level at them. Sac, is this tactic included in your list of Demprop techniques?

Nya nya na na na. You hate America. You don't support the troops. You want to raise taxes (we'll be hearing that one next).

Bush 3. That is the strength of your argument. What a weak group of people.

Follow the money, tk. Who is the candidate of the common folks and who the rich?

Fox News tries to get comments from the demonstrators. Play top vid. Gives a good idea what these folks are like. Ugh.

The strongest arguments are often the simplest. In what way is McSame not a continuation of W? He voted with him 95% of the time.

"Sac, is this tactic included in your list of Demprop techniques?"

I know we aren't supposed to feed the trolls but the FOX guy does wear on me!

Just sit back and watch the Top 10 Moonbat Talking Points get worn out this week both by our favorite trolls and the Convention folk. Here again is my list:

"So lets make it easier for them and just get the "top 10" list going now shall we:
1. McCain = "Bush 3".
2. McCain wants to keep us in Iraq for "100 years".
3. McCain is too old!
4. Bush lied, troops died.
5. If you don't vote for Barry you're a racist!
6. Democrats are behind the troops. (That's why they continue to try and cut Iraq funding!)
7. Barry will "unite" the country. (As long as you're not one of those 18 million racist's that didn't vote for him or a Republican)
8. We are in a recession.
9. Barry's associations for the past twenty years with various extremists have nothing to do with him.
10.Here's my personal favorite - "That was taken out of context""

It's been a few months so we may need to update with some of their latest:

Cindy steals drugs from the homeless.

McCain doesn't know how many houses he has.

Etc. Etc. Etc.

Yeah, what's the matter with those protestors? Don't they know that the best way to silence political opponents is to walk into a church and shoot them?! Or to have them arrested and/or roughed up by the police?! Or to blow up abortion clinics?! Or to try to induce meatballs like SacLess to slip them rat poison?! Or to issue Congressional declarations condemning opposing speech?! Or to call for the NYT building to be blown up?!

Pfff, amateurs.

Besides, I thought wingers were super-manly, patriotic, heroic, manly men, who are never homosexual. Why do they shirk away from a bunch of hippies? Why aren't the wingers properly armed, pursuant to their duty as Americans? (the 2d amendment requires 24 gun possession after all).

It's always funny when wingers openly call for war in the U.S., claiming that their side will win because they have all the guns, and blah blah blah. But when push comes to shove we see what we have here: whining about the mean liberals.

"--- Why aren't the wingers properly armed, pursuant to their duty as Americans? (the 2d amendment requires 24 gun possession after all). ---"

Could be that the newsies from Fox are non-partisan, neutral agents. I mean, they *could* have hired Hells Angels goons to be their body guards, but that wouldn't look good on camera once they brought out the automatic weapons and shotguns and opened up on the hippies, much less simple fisticuffs.

It'd be one of those, y'know, "disproportionate responses".

Meanwhile, the hippies look like what they are: a bunch of violent radicals and possible terrorism-sympathizers who cause people to equate their causes with terror. I may be stretching that quite a bit, but it does little good to tangle with someone who buys ink by the barrel, paper by the ream, and broadband communication time by the petabyte.

"Meanwhile, the hippies look like what they are: a bunch of violent radicals"

Seek, if you think that was violence you live a sheltered life.

Spartan, mobs have a much lower flashpoint for violence. That little bit of jostling one-to one or even in a small group would likely not necessarily amount to much.

But in a mob of about 1,000 people against a couple of blokes with a much hated and reviled identity (Fox News in this case) could have easily been escalated into a curb-stomping that would have truly ended today on a sad note.

What we likely did not see (off camera) was police intervention or the threat of likely riot suppression that restrained the mob from acting any more than pushing them around or slapping the camera about. Or maybe, just maybe, cooler heads among the leadership prevailed to calm the mob down a tad, lest the media spin things wrong. Somehow I rather doubt that last option, since Mr. Spagnuola, the chap whose leading this "Recreate '68" venue is right nasty git, talking up nonsense about flinging poo at the convention goers at one turn, and denying it later. He's probably got no more sense than a can of paint.

No further details about it seem to be forthcoming, and it did look like the cameraman and the newsie were fast losing situational control of themselves against that angry mob.

I have to wonder why that lot wasn't caged up like the DNC did in Boston in 2004.
