Gateway Pundit points out that Michelle Obama quoted concepts from Rules for Radicals in her speech last night and suggests she heard it in church. Funny, but more likely, it was Obama that came up with it due to the individual who started him off in his activist pursuits. I came upon it the other day while researching something else.
Via The Nation:
In 1985, freshly graduated from Columbia University and working for a New York business consultant, Barack Obama decided to become a community organizer. Though he liked the idea, he didn't understand what the job involved, and his inquiries turned up few opportunities.
Then he got a call from Jerry Kellman, an organizer working on Chicago's far South Side for a community group based in the churches of the region, an expanse of white, black and Latino blue-collar neighborhoods that were reeling from the steel-mill closings. Kellman was looking for an organizer for the new Developing Communities Project (DCP), which would focus on black city neighborhoods.
Kellman was an Alinsky protege.
After college Obama moved to Chicago to be part of the Jerry Kellman organization as a community organizer. [Kellman was a Saul Alinsky protege.] Among the primary goals of Alinsky was radical socialism and redistribution of wealth. Alinsky taught his proteges to "HIDE" their true goals by any means necessary. Lying was fine. The objective of Alinsky and Kellman was to turn people against the white establishment.
Also worth noting, from Kellman Obama was passed along to Betty Lu Saltzman. Her Father was Phillip Klutznik. What comes round goes around, I suppose.
Link: Among the major reported donors to the Labor Party are Canadian businessman Charles Bronfman, CBS Chairman Lawrence Tisch, Walt Disney Chairman Michael Eisner, and real estate developer Philip Klutznik. (Klutznik, past president of the World Jewish Congress and the World Zionist Organization, has been a frequent critic of Israeli policies toward the Palestinians and has called for negotiations between Israel and the PLO.)

I truly believe you are losing your mind.
What in the heck are you getting at?
Because a donor to the Labor Party called for negotiations between Israel and Palestine this somehow means what?
Peace to you Dan. Relax. Senator Obama will make a fine President.
Much, much, much better than the utter catastrophe called George Bush.

"What in the heck are you getting at?"
Gee I'm not sure Harpo but I think it was this:
"Michelle Obama Used Lines From Saul Alinsky's Book, 'Rules for Radicals' In Last Night's Speech".
Barry and the wife have numerous ties both in their educational backgrounds and their Chicago graft connections including Ayers to longstanding radicals.
It ain't rocket science pal!

---Senator Obama will make a fine President.
Much, much, much better than the utter catastrophe called George Bush.---
But not as good as John McCain. In any event, Barack Hussein will never get the chance to find out. Too bad for him but great for the nation.

From Gateway pundit.
"What to make of Michelle Obama's use the terms, “The world as it is” and “The world as it should be?” From whence do they originate? Try Chapter 2 of Saul Alinsky’s book, Rules for Radicals. In last night's speech,"
Is this what you are referring to?
You guys are certifiable lunatics.
You can't be serious.

The libs actually LOSE points during their convention, could it be that Mrs. Hussein Obama's trite "I love America" fell a little flat after earlier regaling us with her tales of woe and lack of pride in said country?
Heh...they lose points during their own convention. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

This from a girl who plans on voting for Obama. People in glass houses...well, you know the rest.

"You can't be serious."
Sure he is. He is as serious as Michelle Obama was when she said she had never been proud of her country. And as serious as Obama's relationship with Ayers is. Which is very serious.

Exactly, my poor friend from Sacramento. I'm very concerned about your financial health, almost as much as chris is. LOL.
Returning to the topic at hand, one wonders why these Obama shills keep repeating their nonsense. It is quite obvious that the Obama is a crook and a terrorist supporter. His reaction to an ad appearing on television is proof of the same, if one even needed any proof. The only reason people like jharp are even supporting the jerk is for their own personal financial gain. Prick a liberal and you'll find a grasping, selfish desire for money.

Alinsky's strategy and tactics pervade Obama's campaign.
Anyone who has familiarized themselves with Alinsky's work will easily recognize the profound influence they have on Obama's strategies for political organizing. Alinsky was an utterly ruthless cynic for whom the end justifies the means. Obama struggles to avoid disclosing his own beliefs and true political agenda, the better to reflect the agendas of those he would organize, remaining a blank slate upon which those who "hope" for "change" can scrawl their dreams. That is straight out of the Alinsky playbook, as is exploiting those organizations for your own purposes after you have built them up.
I am confident that review of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge records will reveal that a great deal of the money ($160 million was raised) intended to benefit students was actually spent on building political infrastructure in a power struggle with Mayor Daley over control of Chicago schools. That infrastructure was later co-opted by Obama for his own purposes.
Pure Alinsky.

templar,
"It is quite obvious that the Obama is... ...a terrorist supporter"
Give yourself a break. You've been here too long. The stupid is starting to permeate into you.
