I didn't see this one coming. I thought it was to be Tampa Bay?
Green Bay, WI (Sports Network) - The Green Bay Packers reached an agreement to trade quarterback Brett Favre to the New York Jets late Wednesday night.
Though the Packers did not release terms of the trade, the Green Bay Press- Gazette said the Packers will acquire a draft choice as compensation.
Packers president and CEO Mark Murphy and executive vice president and general manager Ted Thompson released a joint statement.

The Jets needed a quarterback more than Tampa Bay did. The Jets probably offered the best deal. And Green Bay did not want him in the NFC. Now New York has 2 teams with Mississippi quarterbacks. Eli and Brett. The Big Apple will be a great stage for Brett. The NY Jet fans will love him. And I think they sold him on the idea of some good hunting and fishing in the Northeast. It is going to be fun watching him play in The Big Apple. Good headlines in the NY Post and The Daily News. Jet Favre!
