Devastating?

With news that McCain will be airing an ad tonight around the time Barack Obama is scheduled to be speaking and that he will address Obama directly ....

Tonight, John McCain will talk directly to his opponent in a television ad his campaign is airing in battleground states, around the time Barack Obama accepts the presidential nomination, McCain's campaign said.

Aides would give few details beyond the fact that McCain will speak directly to the camera, addressing Obama.

coupled with this new ad below:

I'm thinking the McCain campaign is looking for a little shock and awe impact on Obama. Will Obama be left looking like the next leader of the Free World after taking the stage tonight at Invesco, or is he going to end up looking like Obawon BaBambi when a pair of headlights paid a call?

You know, I am a believer in … in knowing what you’re doing when you apply for a job. Uh, and I think that … if I were seriously to consider running on a national ticket, I would essentially have to start now, before having served a day in the Senate. Now there may be some people who are comfortable doing that, but I am not one of those people. — Barack Obama, 2004

Oh, now and that is a right CLEVER advert....

That could very well be this year's equivalent to LBJ's "Daisy Girl" advert from 1964.

Whoever is making these anti-Obama ads is good...scary good. The Mac campaign seems to have an edge on producing and releasing these things right after Obama says something. This particular one is brutal and if it makes it to tv Obama is going to explode.

His own words at the end, his OWN WORDS tell America that he isn't ready to be President. You can't spin that away, not that the lefties won't try.

Hey wait isn't that Moonbat Talking Point #10 at work..

you know "That was taken out of context".

It's amazing how just months ago there was this overwhelming theme on the democratic side that Barry just wasn't good enough to be POTUS and now suddenly overnight he's ready to lead.

Hannity was asking DuCockUs last night to name one thing that Barry had accomplished.... uh, uh, community organizer uh, uh he's a uniter blah, blah.

Empty suit Barry is starting to unravel before your eyes. McCain has the more original, funny and well crafted ads.

Using all of the negative quotes from the other dems is priceless!

---uh, uh, community organizer uh, uh he's a uniter blah, blah.---

Sharpton is a community organizer and he regularly unites people against imagined foes. Odd that he never made a big splash in the DFL nomination process; I guess he wasn't as "articulate and clean" as Obama.

Bob Barr only presidential candidate on Texas ballot:

Of course, major parties will get listed, since the ballot access rules can get bent with the greatest of ease for them.

But for the Constitution Party of Texas, the rules won't budge a nanometer. Nor would they have for the Libertarians.
