Understanding Jackson's Just Released Comment

TVNewser breaks more in the matter of Hot Mic comments made by Jesse Jackson via Fox News. While the "N" word will get the attention, the actual gist of Jackson's comment reveals that, like many others, Jackson believes Obama to be an elitist.

Barack...he's talking down to black people...telling n—s how to behave.

Jackson is actually projecting the attitude that many black people are somehow less than onto Obama, in other words, that he is treating them like niggers in terms of how he is approaching certain factions of the black community.

If that spells any potential trouble for Obama, it is in the area of black voter turnout in the Fall. If many in the black community begin to perceive Obama as someone who thinks he is somehow better than them, they could conclude he's no better than the average white guy and stay home.

Whether or not that sense of Obama is widespread within the black community, or just a product of Jackson's jealousy remains to be seen. But it is interesting to note that Jackson echoes the "elitist" attack on Obama, usually reserved for Right-wing pundits. I guess they've pegged Obama right in this case. Don't look for that to become a cartoon on the cover of The New Yorker anytime soon.

The father intervened to protect his daughter, the thug called for help, and he and seven of his friends proceeded to try to kill this guy, beating him senseless, taking turns stomping his head. The security guards at the park had no weapons and didn't intervene. The man's wife and daughters tried to help him.

Two things here, why do these people always want to gang up? Never fight a guy one on one. The other thing that comes to my mind is why it has taken this story so long to come out in the media.

Now this is the best arguement in the world for concealed carry and the 2nd Amendment right to keep and bear arms. If there were ever some SOB's who should have been shot down like the animals they were acting like, then these fit the bill.

I would like to say of the whole Obama talking down to Black people and trying to tell n-words how to act.

1) If you think that Jesse Jackson is the voice of Black people then you are obviously not well informed. Jesse Jackson jumps on anything racially charged to stay in the public eye. Its one thing to fight for a valid injustice to be rectified. However, Jesse Jackson has not always used his best judgment as to which battles to fight. You can't run to the aid of those do wrong and only want sympathy and media attention. It makes that person look like a trouble maker, a rebel without a cause, etc. I hope Jesse is taking care of that illegitimate child he fathered (not not by his wife) a few years back during his Rainbow Coalition days, while he attempts to poison the minds of others.

2) Jesse Jackson got nowhere near as far as Barak Obama, during his run for president. Jesse is jealous of Obama's widespread support from all nationalities, period. Barak appeals to the masses, because of his diverse background. Barak comes from a mix of Caucasian and African (not Black, but African) upbringing. Barak has lived in several countries all around the world, so he can understand the views, struggles and situations of other countries. Barak did not come from wealthy parents. Barak has been both poor and rich. Barak came into his own by attending an ivy league university and earning his pay the old fashioned way. Barak is living the American dream. Jesse's views are from a totally different era. Jesse was in his prime during the civil rights struggle. That mentality has served its time, and now its time for change. Barak is the voice of today. Barak can speak on the issues of today, not ride on the coattails of yesteryear.

3) Telling n-words how to act. . . . we here we have an educated man, who happens to be African-American, speaking to those African-Americans, Blacks, or whichever term you chose to describe a person of color with African ancestry about cleaning up their acts and making descent lives for themselves. Barak is not talking to all African-American/ Blacks. He is not addressing the ones who have received higher education and support their families by working 40+ hours and are involved in their children's mental development, family values, and selfworth. Barak, like Bill Cosby, is talking to the niggas. Those who want to leach off the system, and rob, kill, still, manipulate people to giving them something they did not earn nor deserve. Barak is talking to the idiots who run out and have baby after baby, and no plans to work to support their own. As a man of color who has African blood in his veins, he is one of the only ones who can reach out and speak to African-American/ Blacks try to wake those who are still sleeping up. McCain or anyone who is not African-American/ Blacks would not get the same reception as Barak or someone of Barak's status. Its not an elitist attitude that Barak has demonstrated to the public. Its that Barak, like so many others of all walks of life are tired of their own people not taking care of themselves and making life hard for everyone else, because they don't want to deal with reality. The reality is, there will be no social security, so people who are not currently supporting themselves, who actually can work and are in good health, need to get off their sorry asses and get a skill and a job. There will soon be no middle class. There will only be the rich and the poor. Where will that leave those who are already poor? Leeching off the new poor (former middle class), who are already taking a beating with the slumping job market, house market, gas prices, etc.? If we pay into private accounts to supplement our social security, like Bush advised us, then what will the people on welfare do? Will they have to put money into a private account too, or will they continue to drain the economy? Why is it that everyone wants to put down African-America / Black's and say how sorry they all are and how they are useless to society, but when someone tries to get them to straighten up, all or a sudden that person becomes the villan? The only people who get angry are the true n-words (this goes for all nationalities). What people don't understand, like the mind set of the civil rights movement, the n-word has changed its meaning as well. A n-word is an ignorant person, not a person of color as it once was. A n-word can be any color. Its just a word. Yes, it has a history of pain, and racism, but we must get over it and move on. Its good to remember history, but you don't have to keep repeating it, because of the color of your skin or past experiences of our ancestors (goes for all nationalities).

Not since Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. has their been a man who is African-America / Black to have the ear of so many, without raising his voice, speaking in rhymes, trying to fit in with everyone just to be accepted, yet remain positive without putting blame on other races for the damage to the African-America / Black culture. I for one am very please with Barak's vision for America. I think it is time for the mud slinging to stop, and for people to start looking and listening to a person because of the content of their character and not the color of ones skin.

Notice that Moe the Terrible (compare with Ivan the Terrible at your nearest Russian History store) talks about "documentation" not evidence. Evidence must be shown in a court and found to be true. Any moron can create "documentation".

Moe, not one service person, called cold-blooded murderers by that noted jurist John "Not now" Murtha, has yet been convicted (except by you and some in the far-left media) of any wrong-doing in the battle in Haditha. Is this incorrect? And, Moe, you know this and none of your hyperbolically driven emotional rants can change it.

Ah the clarity of the battlefield among those who never experienced combat....one suspects some have never as much as been in a fist fight. But John Murtha, Perky Katie and Professor Ponytail scream REDRUM!! and thus it must be so...... Murtha at least should know better even though shooting at the little people of the emerald forest is a wee bit different than urban warfare. What's the name of the book about the soldiers in Afghanistan who didn't kill the sheepherders, who then told the Taliban about the soldiers, who then killed the soldiers, whose bodies were being retrieved by soldiers who were then also killed? There was one survivor. He wrote the book.

It's war, not a game of tiddley-winks. The civilian deaths (Haditha) are the responsibility of the terrorists who set off the bomb and who fired at the soldiers from a house and who came out of the house holding the baby of one of the civilians.

Oh ho ho! So now you're claiming that Haditha happened, but no one was killed? Or are you claiming that the children ages 8 and under were all super secret terrorist killers and their murders were entirely justified?

Come on, Fred. You can do better than this. Maybe you've got a link showing how the bodies turned up in the rubble weren't really children at all, but clever forgeries of children.

Either way, a military court overseen by Bush Admin flunkies and ideologies that fail to convict the seven Haditha killers for murder doesn't exactly acquit them of anything. They attacked and children died. The people they killed were marked off as acceptable casualties, and the soldiers were forgiven for their actions.

They were soldiers on a combat mission, which gives them a little leeway when civilian casualties start racking up. But to claim that civilians weren't killed is still the height of delusion, even for you Fred.
