"I won't tolerate any nastiness directed at Snow in comments below."

This is decent and fair. They can get their imprimatur from Kos and Huff if they so desire.

Such righteous indignation from the guy who had a headline entitled "Carlin Now As Dead As His Career". What a joke.

Carlin would have enjoyed that headline.

Tony Snow came across as a smart, nice, decent person with a good sense of humor. Prayers for him and his family.

Mega Dittos on the Carlin Comment, that said my heart goes out to the Snow family as it does to anyone who loses a loved one too soon.

"-- s/Carlin/Snow Now As Dead As His Career

There was actually a time when I liked s/George Carlin/Tony Snow/ - back in the 70's when he was fresh. The man did have a great creative mind and talent for comedy. Whenever I saw him in recent years, he was always spouting off about political garbage.

Not no mo.

So what about Carlin? The man lived a long full life and moved on just as we all do - he wasn't robbed of twenty or more years by a disease.

You people have no sense of what is tragic and what is simply a part of life. Get over Carlin. He's over you.

Such a compassionate conservative! Given that Carlin was the same age as that sad little old man that you seem to be supporting, I guess it's time for him to check out too. Get over McSame, patriot. It's over for him!

Asking leftists to display class is asking too much in my opinion. When I heard of Snow's passing I commented to my husband that they would have to shut down the comments section of the Huffington Post. To my not so great surprise, they did indeed shut down the comments section of the Huffington Post. RIP Tony Snow. RIP George Carlin. RIP Tim Russert.

What is both saddening at the same time as it is tragic is the rash of deaths of men barely through their middle years; Russert at 58 and Snow at 53. These are Baby Boomers as compared to their elders from the Silent Generation such as Carlin and McCain, who by comparison have lead longer lives and have had opportunity to see their grandchildren grow up.

Apparently Mr. Snow knew the Lord, and if so, he is now in a much better place - enjoying the Lord's Rest. May the Saviour grant his family solace in that.

Why do you troop-supporters lie?

Semper Fi, fabulist hero. Now go fill up your tank for Jesus and George Bush! YOU can make the SURGE a success!!

Bob the Boob, you really ought to get out more, broaden your horizons, quit the kool-aid drinking on the Left, and do a little research. You will find that the surge is working quite well, thank you. As a matter of fact, attacks are down 90% from a year ago. If that's not working, your definition is full of shit, like you.

Not to rub salt in the wounds or anything, but Ted Kennedy is still up and kicking - and voting - with the best of them. The guy who staunchly supports universal health coverage survives his brain tumor. The guy who shills for an anti-insurance elitist pack of US Treasury raiders bites it.

Perhaps there is a god.

"The guy who shills for an anti-insurance elitist pack of US Treasury raiders bites it."

Ya know, Dan plainly asked for a little respect for the dead, but you who would not piss on your own burning grandmother just couldn't resist dropping trow and showing your ass. What a sad, pathetic hatefilled POS.

FUCK YOU!!! YOU BUNCH OF FASCISTS!!!
