Good heavens ... and after that magnificent whirl through Europe ... after conquering the Middle East with his 3-point shot?. And they're in a dead heat according to Gallup. One LA pundit is asking where the mojo went?
PRINCETON, NJ -- The race for the presidency has moved back into a statistical tie in the latest Gallup Poll Daily tracking update of national registered voters, with Barack Obama now ahead of John McCain by just one percentage point, 45% to 44%.
Oh, no, no, no ... this cannot be. Don't people realize that he is the chosen one, come to lead America ahead down the road to ... uh, er ... hope? Oh, wait - that was the philandering former President that came from Hope. Man, this is getting confusing. Clinton came from Hope, Obama wants to take us back there. Is his presidency going to be all about a camping trip to Slick Willy's old home town? You know, Hillary likely wouldn't put him up.
Time for them to get this clown behind a podium to read a speech and otherwise, not open his mouth, perhaps. He certainly seems to be rather, shall we say, in-experienced.
And his trying to play the race card, then denying it after being busted by the media ... seems as though with Obama, everything new is old, again. And if he keeps nonsense like that up, the American people aren't going to want anything to do with Obama.
What a crying shame.

From Power Line:
"Moreover, a month ago, Obama explicitly claimed, without evidence, that the Republicans will attack him on racial grounds:
The choice is clear. Most of all we can choose between hope and fear. It is going to be very difficult for Republicans to run on their stewardship of the economy or their outstanding foreign policy. We know what kind of campaign they're going to run. They're going to try to make you afraid. They're going to try to make you afraid of me. 'He's young and inexperienced and he's got a funny name. And did I mention he's black?'
It seems clear, therefore, that the race card has become a permanent part of Obama's hand, a wild card to be played whenever the spirit, or the circumstances, so moves him."
Obama's first deal of the card, a month ago. Not a surprising move coming from a 20-some year seat in a Rev Wright pew.

Obama has once again proven himslef to be the "affirnative action" candidate. After all the Hype over his "world tour" he cant accept the fact that his poll numbers are down. His conlusion "Its because I am black!" - I doesnt understand the fact that the more the American electrate sees him the les they like him!
It seems that Obama is making the case he should get 10 extra points in the polls due to the fact he is black. Well that is what helped him get into to college and law school...

"--- And if he (Obama) keeps nonsense like that up, the American people aren't going to want anything to do with Obama. ---"
Tsk, tsk.You do put too much faith in the populace not to vote based upon emotion and out of their general sheepish stupidity.
Although if Obie's art department blows with something as cheesy as his Fauxbama Presidential Seal again, it might start reflecting in the polling numbers.

Yes. And at one point Hillary was up 30 points in the polls. Obama is going to lose just like Kerry,Dukasis,Mondale,McGovern. Now it is Obama's turn to lose slowly but surely.
And that ad with Paris Hilton and Britney Spears in it is priceless. You could say that the Republicans have better ad makers and leave it at that.
It paints Obama as a light weight piece of fluff created by the media. What a great ad.

This has been their strategy for some time now. After several early gaffs they have transformed the wife, shut up the preacher, filled the bus up and shifted every position he had in the primary to the center. The only problem is he actually has to talk sometimes to "people" without the script. It is hoot to see through the mist around him and see the real socialist Manchurian Candidate for what he really is instead of the media crafted image they want you to see.
Me thinks the emperor has no clothes!
