I imagine the Left is able to generate a good deal of enthusiasm around the pending general election. Pajamas Media has a good state of the race post up.
McCain doesn't generate near that much enthusiasm across the Right, leaving them in step with much of the general electorate, which probably isn't focusing much on politics at all right now.
For now, I'd maintain that it's anyone's to win, or lose. And we won't be able to get a good assessment of things before very late Summer, or early Fall.
Any thoughts on the coming race? Frankly, it's been so hot here, it's hard to think about anything besides the air conditioning and a cold drink.
Oh, I saw the Indiana Jones movie yesterday. Eh, I think they've played that string out about as far as it can go. In fact, maybe they made one movie too many. It was standard IJ - which, frankly, is getting old, just like the actor who plays him.
But then, aren't we all? Heh!
Guess I listed eight truths, since the union goons seem to have no objection to any of them, as if they had really read them.

As for Russia and China, they are a fulfillment of God's word where other nations shall be placed at the head, and we shall become the tail.
But even as they are godless heathen nations, their judgment shall not slumber long either -- yet God is able to chastise our nation by the heathens and atheist unbelievers.
And any widespread, sweeping Democraticic (socialist) victories are proof that God is chastising this nation.
