Oh, yeah ... he's ready for Prime Time, alright. I suspect after he gets done courting the liberal, Democrat faithful that can't keep themselves from drolling over him, Obama is going to end up looking like the wet behind the ears, over-ambitious little upstart he actually is.
On this Memorial Day, as our nation honors its unbroken line of fallen heroes -- and I see many of them in the audience here today -- our sense of patriotism is particularly strong.
Watch the Left scream about how this was a simple gaffe. But had it been Bush, it would be proof that he's a moron. I am so sick of non-objective reactions from both sides, it isn't even entertaining anymore.
But given Obama's positioning and the fact that he is a Dem - the party always afraid of looking weak on the military - this was a disastrous place for this type of truly stupid gaffe. There isn't even any explaining it, except possibly he's no better than the copy supplied him and some idiot wrote it up this way for the messiah to utter.
Shame the "fallen heroes" he apparently saw were stuck looking back at such an inexperienced, empty suit.

He meant he saw many heroes in the audience, not many fallen heroes in the audience. You're a dick.

"I am so sick of non-objective reactions from both sides, it isn't even entertaining anymore."
Pretty much the only point that made any sense in your post.
And YOU are among the worst offenders.

Sucks having your man speaking with the "verbal grace" of GWB doesn't it? Expect more if he's elected, much more.

well, let's see. in just the last coupla weeks, obama has stupidly....
* told us of his travels to "all 57 states"
* gotten spectacularly wrong the name of the florida city he was speaking in
* and now managed to sound (yet again) like an idiot. "hey, all y'all dead heroes!"
what a mush-mouthed lightweight pinhead, huh? naturally, he's a democrat.

Ouch,
"He meant he saw many heroes in the audience, not many fallen heroes in the audience. You're a dick."
Wow I thought your name was Dan, my mistake.
The Barry Messiah would never say such a thing. This is just another example of you right wing nuts "takin things outa context"!
The man's true personality actually sneaks out every now and then on his "rockstar stadium" tour whenever he veers from the script. His handlers had better stop him from the lame adlibs before even the MSM won't be able to shield Barry Boy from those angry, racist, "typical white people" voters.
Me thinks the emperor has no clothes.

What a clever and witty retort. My question is, "If Prince Charming gets into the Oval Orifice (yeah, I meant that), how often during the next four years will guys like "Oh please" be scurrying out from under the wallboards to 'explain what His Royal Highness REALLY meant'"?
My short answer: "So often that office betting pools will become very lucrative."

Any criticism of Obama is racist hate. Just ask his addled supporters.

Then when he was at Wesleyan University this past weekend in place of Sen. Edward Kennedy to deliver the commencement address, there was the gaffe of how nice it was to be at Wellesley!! Hillary must have been on his mind (her alma mater in Mass). Pretty lame.

Yeah because there really are 57 states and Hugo Chavez came to power when GWB was in office and Americans are really miserable so they should have less food, higher gas prices and go into 'social activism' by getting those government Greenie jobs since the Stazi police were so popular in East Germany.
How can any insane person NOT vote for the O!

Obama apparently doesn't know the difference between Memorial Day and Veteran's Day.

Are the 28%ers really attacking Obama's gaffes?? I suppose there isn't much to write about in patriotland. At least you can all support your country and your leader and buy as much $4 gas as you can.
In other patriot-news, noted (multiple) family values CONSERVATIVE and general troop-supporter believes that breathlyzer manufacturers hate his freedom.

Indeed, Yoda. I suspect that ...
-----(looking into the book of lame liberalese for our cotton-brained liberal friends afflicted with BDS)-----
... that "stammering, stuttering imbecile war criminal Chimp-a-Doodle George W. Bush" will look like a genius after a few months of a White House 'Resident Barry "Heinrich" Obadummy.
Oh, and BTW: it won't be the "White House" any more, because that's like racist, and stuff.
It will be the Flaming Commie "Red House" by the time he and Michelle (with some help from Hugo Chavez and Raul Castro) are done with it.

I will bet heavily that the prepared text was fine and he ad-libbed "and I see many of them in the audience here today".
FWIW, The Politico had this interpretation of Memorial Day from Team Obama:
"Obama's camp declined to hit back [at McCain], with spokesman Bill Burton saying "Memorial Day is a day to honor our nation's veterans, not a day for political posturing.""

Haha! Obama proves once more that he is nothing but a lightweight. And that's the best the Dems can do for a candidate. The Dems might yet lose this race, when they had it in the bag.

Maybe you should do more work during, you know, working hours so that you can buy a better yellow house.

For the historians on here - is there something wrong with this statement?
"In World War Two we didn't have the concept of post traumatic stress syndrome. People had to basically handle it on their own," he said. Referring to an uncle who had been one of the first U.S. troops into Auschwitz, the concentration camp, Obama said: "The story in the family is he came home and just went up in the attic."

Oh, no, not hardly. The fun of watching the Democraticic Party deconstruct itself, and less happily, the unfolding demise of the Republic under leftist foolishness will have only just began.
If your stammering, gaffe-making boob of a leader does half as good a job as our stammering boob of a leader, you'll be doing well.
I expect that Michelle will have to keep him on a short leash in one hand and a long stick in the other.

BREAKING NEWS
At his press conference this morning Obama blamed his gaff concerning "fallen heroes" on his inability to read his teleprompter due to the glare of the sun. However, he also stated that has consulted with M. Night Shyamalan just in case he did see dead people....now back to our coverage of the Dumbocratic 1000 Year War...
Posted by: JustOneMan | Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at 11:36 AM
How does Obama's statement translate to "I see dead people?" Obama, even in his address at the Town Hall Meeting with Veterson and Military families, used the phase "unbroken line" of heroes -- meaning the heroes who live today to carry on the legacy.
"These sons and daughters of America are the best and the bravest among us. They are a part of an 'unbroken line' of heroes that overthrew a King; freed the slaves; faced down fascism; and fought for freedom in Korea and Vietnam, from Kuwait to the Balkans. Today, they are serving brilliantly in the face of grave danger in Afghanistan, Iraq and around the world."

On video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WR8YaR3JEkE
About 7sec. into the video, Obama clearly says:
"unbroken line of fallen heroes -- and I see many of them in the audience here today"
There is no ambiguity in these words; he made an error, and implied by his words, that there were "fallen heroes" in his audience.
Therefore:
These "fallen" heroes in the audience are either (1) undead corpses of formerly living veterans OR (2) verminous traitorous so-and-so's who were once valiant, heroic fighters for America's freedoms and have since FALLEN from grace, turned their coats, and become scandalously atheistic and communistic scoundrels.
Somehow, I doubt either (1) or (2) were present in his audience.
Conclusion:
Obama is, despite his fancy-pants education, a pandering twit who can't stick to his script.

It's obvious Barack doesn't have the comedic flair our current President has. Barack's mistakes so far have been kindof boring. minor league stuff - but Bush didn't settle for simple mistakes, he showed a true genius for twisting the English language. A true Pro.
"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we."
"Too many OB-GYNs aren't able to practice their love with women all across this country."
"Tribal sovereignty means that; it's sovereign. I mean, you're a — you've been given sovereignty, and you're viewed as a sovereign entity. And therefore the relationship between the federal government and tribes is one between sovereign entities."

Calling Sunrise "Sunshine" is a simple gaffe.
Not knowing Memorial Day is for dead people is proof that he is a dope smoking slacker who never bothered to learn the history of a country he didn't like anyway.
America, to B.O., is a racist capitalist greedy polluting relic in need of radical change.
He knows NOTHING of its great history and traditions, and doesn't care to.

Bottom line = Obama is a disgrace to the Democratic Party and the United States of America
Further proof that the big money finds the least intelligent / easy to handle candidates to become President - just so they can be controlled and manipulated by the big money that puts them in office.
This guy doesn't sound like he has had a third grade education - OMG - we are doomed!!!!!!!!!!

"Watch the Left scream about how this was a simple gaffe. But had it been Bush, it would be proof that he's a moron."
It *was* a simple gaffe, and everyone is entitled to them--even your champion idiot-boy Bush.
I don't need any more proof that Bush is a moron. The verdict is in. He can barely form a sentence. It's one thing to confuse a name, and quite another to unable to form sentences.
By the way, how's that economy looking for all you cons? Where's all the praise for the current President?

Try asking Congress, and the Federal Reserve guys. They seem to know more about managing that mess than anyone else.
