Yet Another Reason For Outrage Over Spitzer

So, I'm thinking, how could a guy frequenting high end call girls allegedly for years lead the prosecution of the very same type of service as recently as 2004? It turns out it wasn't the same at all. From the New York Times circa 2004:

In most instances, customers paid $250 for sex, sometimes using credit cards. The transactions, officials said, were processed through merchant accounts held by escort services or limousine companies, and in one instance a company that hired musical bands for weddings.

Two-hundred and fifty bucks couldn't get you a drink with one of Spitzer's gals - the least expensive of which appears to have been somewhere around a grand an hour. So much for Democrats looking after the middle class. You might say in Spitzer's case, he had no regard for the working stiff at all.

A little off topic, but I count 5 different rants on Spitzer and zero rants on the KBR foul-water mess in Iraq.

So. Just for the record.
Staring at the Governor's Crotch? 5 points.
Supporting the Troops? 0 points.

Patriotic Americans For The Win!

"I count 5 different rants on Spitzer and zero rants on the KBR foul-water mess in Iraq."

If I didn't like what Dan did with his blog, I would start my own.......

Yeah, Islamo - and in other news, Bush is clearing the way to bomb Iran! Things are definitely looking up!!! ; )

Dan I googled the foul water story and the latest mention I could find on it was 2006. I admit that I did not try digging deeper. It also appears to be a "story" first broken by disgruntled employees.

Wow. I guess that should make the dozens of sick US troops feel better. Google harder, Willie. This newfangled technology is hard, but I'm sure you'll get used to it.

"This newfangled technology is hard,"

Sorry I used the Boston Globe (right wing rag) rather than Yahoo. It's still two years old no matter who got sick. Of course having been in that part of the world, in the military, I doubt I'd know as much as you. As far as "new technology" goes.....I started doing this sh** when it was hard sweetie.

Thankfully David Vitter routinely communes with Almighty Jesus and is thus exempt from scrutiny.

This happened two years ago.

Same old stuff, sliced, diced, and rehashed for the eager mindless among us.

Now we know the head of the whore house was IRS (previous employee and now privaliged tax man) connected and just got busted trying to skip the country with close to a million dollars in cash. Sounds like those stupid enough to pay 'ahead' were about to be screwed twice for the same money.

Now we need to see the entire client list. I'd be interested in who the high level politician from Chicago is.

Someone wanted to know where Michele Obama has been all week. One guess, home scrubbing the check book and credit card statements.

Who started having the wet dream about the water in Iraq? Chaney Derangement syndrome (CDS) is in full bloom. A whole 20 cases in 5 years, more than that have occured in any hometown USA. You get a belly ache, Dr fixes it. It wasn't a big deal so you didn't hear about it. Forget about Chaney, it'll drive you crazy when you figure out he's an honest man who has contributed millions of dollars (earned at KBR) to charity since taking office rather than put one dollar in the bank for himself.
Former Ambulance driver.

Heidi Fleiss says she's seen more important politicians than Spitzer with call girls.

SPITZER PROVES THERE ARE TWO AMERICAS

I disagreed with Edwards when he made the argument that there were two America's - feeling that his own bio proved the opposite; (after all he's the son of a blue collar worker, and got ahead by dint of his own hard work and education - PROVING the American Dream is alive & well).

But maybe Edwards was right? Maybe Spitzer proves there are indeed two Americas:

One America for guys who try to get laid for the price of dinner for 2 and a bottle of wine, and another America for guys who pay $5000/hour to do dirty things with gorgeous whores.

Er, um... I think Obama is gonna do something to correct this, RIGHT?!?!?!

Edwards, son of a blue collar worker. Wake up nuts, he ended up owning the mill. Poor silky hair had it made.

Bad water in Iraq for washing clothes? That's nothing, New York has drugs in the drinking water.

"--- Er, um... I think Obama is gonna do something to correct this, RIGHT?!?!?! ---"

O-BA-MA~! OOOOOOO-BAAAAA... BAAAAAA... BAAAA.... BAAAAA.... ma.

*** cue the Horst Wessel Lied and the sound of a million young Berliners screeching "Sieg Heil Unser Fuehrer ist gekommt!" ***

O-Baa Baa Black sheep three bags full?

I didn't realize that scandalous revelations had a "born on" date. But if something is revealed two years too late, we're not allowed to care anymore?

So this isn't so much "fuck the troops" as "fuck the veterans". God bless you sir! Patriotism bubbles forth from your soul like a well of sweet sweet nectar.

"Patriotism bubbles forth from your soul like a well of sweet sweet nectar."

The only thing I can say to this is: absolutely precious. Some pipsqueak whom I suspect was still in HS two years ago is lecturing me about patriotism and caring about veterans. Well, my patriotic little wench while I'm sure you never even attended a Veterans Day parade, I AM a veteran. I still carry a piece of Khmer Rouge copper in my hip and I spent more years taking care of troops than you have been alive. Here's a date for you to look up Ms Google champ: 24 April 1980. I was there, supposedly to help hostages with any medical problems...I ended up taking care of injured 'rescuers'. Good old Jimmah Carter and his "let's rim wreck the military" program made sure I'll NEVER vote for another demonrat. Except for a short time, about six years, I spent 1975 to 2006 actually taking care of troops and in fact, in retirement still volunteer occasionally. SO I dont really want to hear from some punk ass kid about how much you "care" about a few soldiers getting a tummy ache from contaminated bath water. The REAL truth is that you wanted to take a shot at Haliburton and that's that. You want to REALLY show you "CARE" about those kids? Get off your lazy, do nothing ass and go collect for "Packages from home" or "Step up for soldiers" and put your feet where you've been running your mouth. The VA always needs drivers to take gguys to the doctor and people to help in the hospitals. DO SOMETHING OTHER THAN BDS OR STFU!!!!!!!

Last week I took a vet to his doctors 4 days in a row. Today I'm taking him again.

"Today I'm taking him again."

Lala: That's the difference between someone who ACTUALLY cares about vets and someone like LameLama who would wiz on the guy if he was on fire. Her whole revelation was about taking shots at Haliburton/KBR and by proxy Cheney. Nothing else. Here's sub contractor with thousands of employees and a handful, 2-5 whatever, fail to do their jobs and somehow it is GWBs fault because he should've thrown the chlorine in himself. Where were these people who care so much when Walter Reed was falling apart, or when these kids had to repair vehicles enroute to the gulf so they could use them. You'll note that they are never there until it' time to blame someone. Here's a big scoop for you. Until Carter started contracting out jobs, government employees took care of stuff like making potable water. Granted, every administration since did nothing to change contracting, except that Reagan said certain jobs would not be contracted, and boy are you paying for it! It looks good on paper though and joe citizen thinks military spending is down because of it.

"In Turkey, we celebrated “Manic Monday” every week after taking the malaria pills. I woke up on night thinking Cujo was standing over my bunk (and that’s not the most disturbing dream I had)

We had signs not just on the latrine doors, but above every ONE of the sinks, telling us not to use the water to brush our teeth. Of course, some ID10T did, and he got ulcers all over his tongue and the inside of his mouth. Gross."

The 3rd world filthiness and malaria pills frfom a US Marine

And just think Willie, if only DDT hadn't been banned malaria probably would have been wiped out.
