Does everyone see this as the big deal the media is portraying? I don't even know that it helps Obama much with Hispanics. I think he does the same with that group no matter what and Richardson always has the look and sound of a likable, but back bench, what's in it for me type of guy.
It's being called a subject changer. True, but it is Friday and Monday is a new day. Certainly Obama is still standing, but this seems far more positive than warranted. Obama has to win more than one or two news cycles to get his balance back. A lot of damage has already been done, even if it doesn't help Hillary, it's serious baggage for the general, don't you think?

Richardson, did he win his home town primary? Anti-american Losers endorsing bigger anti-american losers.

As Gov Richardson's big thing was offering Hollywood a crap load of money, tax exemptions, and special perks to shoot in New Mexico; he idolizes America's bejwelled bottom-feeders so it makes sense he would endorse this celebrity du jour.

Woo! Sitting US Governors are losers! Hispanics will continue to hate Barack Obama way more than they hate xenophobic Republicans no matter who endorses him! Republican landslide in '08!
The Republicans can keep beating this drum straight through till November, but any hope they had of claiming a respectable black demographic into their voting block is going to be set back by a generation. So keep attacking black reverends and spitting on Obama's message of racial harmony. Disparage the Democrats for "playing the race card" after Katrina and the Jena 6 and the cronyism running rampant through Bush's Civil Rights Department, will remind blacks once again of Reagen's Civil Rights Legacy.
Hehe. Rove wanted to build a permanent Republican Majority back in '00. You guys have wrecked that dream nicely for decades to come. Keep pissing on the minorities and it'll be another 40 years in the wilderness. Or you can just run off to Dubai and discover what being a minority is really about.

He was endorsed by Bill who????
Bill Richardson. Former Democratic minor presidential primary contestant. Arch-leftie, and current governor of New Mexico. He also self-identifies as Hispanic, having three Mexican grandparents.

Bill Richardson = A typical democrat= Never maintain any loyalty to your friends. Funny how the Clinton employees and suckups are losing their suction.

Not to insult Governer Richardson or anything but when he dropped out of the race for president had he actually won any primaries? He is not the most exciting candidate we have seen. I also truly do not see him pulling much water among Hispanics. I havn't seen a lot of evidence that Hispanics have strong feelings about Governer Richardson even though he rarely speaks without reminding everyone he is Hispanic. He does not seem to be a household name in Hispanic homes. I have visited many Hispanic homes in Houston as a home health nurse. It is not like I have ever heard his name mentioned. No one has his picture on the wall. Maybe in his state they do. Richardson always was running for VP I think. But he just does not have much juice. The press is making a big deal out of it but somehow I just don't see it.

I hereby nominate Gov. Bill Richardson (who, as one can see from his name, is an Hispanic, whatever that is) for the Annual Golden Clock Award. The Golden Clock Award is for the person with the worst political timing of the year. Son-of-Richard endorsed Obama right after the Obama/Wright scandal began coming to light.

Endorsements are not important. The media are important. They will use this to pump up Obama as they will use anything that comes down the pike to build up Obama. They have obviouslly chosen a candidate and it is not Hillary.
