I thought you guys killed him?

Boob, seen any video of the guy over the past few years? That ought to tell you something. If the guy was alive, even third-world goat herders have enough sense to put him on a video camera that has the date on it. Yep, he's a dead as what's in your head, Boob.

"...you guys..."
Spoken like a true non-American.

seek you must remember that boob is a rich, white, liberal not responsible for anything.

Why is it that you patriots just cant seem to get a handle on those 3rd world goatherders? Does their lack of indoor plumbing make them stronger or maybe this whole volunteer army thing isn't working.

non-American?
This from the lazy Jeeesus freak who writes long idiotic posts all day instead of working. What a complete loser. Don't throw stones, Lord-lover. Be thankful that your mail order bride has been rescued from a life of oragami and bukkake. In the words of the great George Allen - Welcome to America!!!

Once again, when a libtard gets in a corner, he resorts to sexual innuendo...is that all that's on your little brains?
Posted by: SteveC | Thursday, March 20, 2008 at 08:01 AM
You should not ignore those posts, Bob: for wherein I quote scripture, you would do well to heed it, and repent of your wickedness. Bow before the Lord Jesus and receive His mercy, for in Hell you shall know neither mercy nor respite from the eternal punishment that awaits you otherwise.
And I must wonder - do you kiss your mother with that foul mouth of yours?
Indeed, I wonder if you listened at all to anything your parents said to raise you up as a good child... as I will give them the benefit of the doubt of having done their best with such a vile, bitter son as you.
Nevertheless, I rejoice that God is giving our soldiers, Marines, sailors and airmen the victory over the evildoers and terrorists, and every day, Iraq is being built up as the Iraqi people - more and more are rejecting the ways of jihad and working with our troops to roll back the menace of jihadism.

Harpo, you seem to me to be a callow youth. That means, usually, that you are capable of learning, unlike some of the other trolls. Here is some educational material with which you may not be familiar. They show that when it comes to battle, duration isn't very meaningful. (Thanks Gateway Pundit)
Iraq War (5 years)-- 3,990
Batan Death March (one week)-- 10,000
Battle of Guadalcanal (186 days)-- 7,099
Battle of Guam (20 Days)-- 3,000
Operation Market Garden (9 days)-- 3,664
Battle of the Bulge (41 days)-- 19,276
Battle of Iwo Jima (39 days)-- 6,821
Battle of Pusan Perimeter (61 days-Korea)-- 6,706
Numbers from Schiele.us and Iraq Casualty Count

BTW, seek, on another thread you reminded me about Zeppo Marx. A singer, actor, and dancer, but no comedian. Couldn't think of his name though I have a perfect memory of his face. They named a lighter after him didn't they? Just kidding.

Battle of the Somme, 1916
British casualties on the first day were 20,000 dead and more than 35,000 wounded – ‘probably more than any army in any war on a single day’.

The Somme
"After the war a final tally showed that 419,654 British and 204,253 French were killed, wounded, or taken prisoner; of the 623,907 total casualties, 146,431 were either killed or missing."

So, bin Laden is he is or is he ain't our dead enemy?
Posted by: Fred Beloit | Thursday, March 20, 2008 at 09:55 AM
If you want to udnerstand the American Left's view on Bin Laden, just look at how they embrace Che. Only OBL has proved himself to be a better military commander by mounting a successful attack. One day these Leftist idiots will be wearing OBL T-shirts at demonstrations and procvlaiming him a Freedom Fighter. They can do that as they don't understand what freedom really is, or that a certain amount of responsibility comes with the deal.
Posted by: Dan Riehl | Thursday, March 20, 2008 at 10:07 AM
Yeah, Boob, you can hop a flight from Montreal to Havanna. I think you would do quite well there. You and Che, and OBL, one live loser with a couple of dead ones. They will thank you for your service. Amen.

Catching Osama Bin Laden or finding his dead body will be the October surprise in this year's election.
Posted by: joeb | Thursday, March 20, 2008 at 10:23 AM
joeb, son, that is what the Left said before the last presidential election. Catch up willya?
Posted by: Fred Beloit | Thursday, March 20, 2008 at 10:28 AM
Fred I am old enough to be your father. It is never too late to do the right thing. Or so they say.
Posted by: joeb | Thursday, March 20, 2008 at 10:32 AM
You'd have to be pretty darn old to be my father. However, point taken.

"-- If you want to udnerstand the American Left's view on Bin Laden, just look at how they embrace Che. --"
Oh, oh, oh! I can do this game too!
"If you want to understand the American Right's view on Saddam Hussein, just look at how they embrace Pinochet."
See, it's fun and easy. You can make broad generalizations about an entire ideological movement based on the opinions of a handful of college students wearing t-shirts, and I can make gross assumptions about every fiscal conservative, Christian Coalition member, and Ron Paul libertarian based on the realpolitik stance of Ronald Reagen and Bush 41.
Republicans know how to tacitly condone the murder of people they will never meet to uphold an ideology that their political leaders actively violate on a regular basis. So you've got the US dumping weapons and money on third world despots to protect the home country from seeing socialism spread throughout our third-world cheap labor markets. This is to protect America from Big Government Communist Thuggery - of the Joseph Stalin / Chairman Mao variety - that authoritarian conservatives like Dick Cheney are more than happy to inflicit on citizens in the name of Patriotism.
As for the "bin Laden" video that has precisely zero footage of bin Laden... or anything for that matter... I think the pants-wetters of the right need to get over themselves. Screaming and crying and passing the PPA will not make the bad scary terrorists go away. Bush dropped the ball on 9/11. All his post-9/11 wiretapping and email sniffing didn't protect England or Spain or Germany when they were hit in succession. He couldn't find WMDs in any country we've invaded, to date, but under his administration we did get to see North Korea develop the bomb. So, if you think the release of this video will suddenly make people start listening to Republicans again, you are very, very sadly mistaken. If anything, our country will press on towards more liberal policies now that it has become clear what a bitter and painful failure Bush's admin has become.

Oh gee. Look at all the Republicans wearing Pinochet T-shirts. And you go into the Republicans dorms and, sure enough, all you see are those Pinochet posters. You are one funny gal, nowingkallama.

(1)The Iraq War is good because: the enemy is being kept busy trying to stay alive (and mostly failing) there and isn't attacking anyone here. Bush's policies have resulted in no further attacks upon the homeland. (2)Al Gore filled the airways with lawyers in an attempt to steal the 2000 election from George Bush. (3) John Kerry got a Purple Heart for a scratch on his arm from unknown causes. He then turned himself and his brother warriors (hardeeharhar) in as war criminals. (4) Hillary Clinton "invested" $1K in cattle futures and "made" $100K in practically no time. She should not be running for President; she should be president of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange http://www.cme.com/.
You are right, Islamowinker. It is easy to write the kind of stuff you write.

"Republicans know how to tacitly condone the murder of people they will never meet to uphold an ideology that their political leaders actively violate on a regular basis."
What would this ideology be? I do not follow. Guess you haven't hit me with the appropriate "code words" to trigger my slavish Pavlovian responses to my dark neo-con masters.
"So you've got the US dumping weapons and money on third world despots to protect the home country from seeing socialism spread throughout our third-world cheap labor markets. The Cold War really did happen Llama. The Soviet Union was a real threat. We were real enemies. We really did need allies.
As for dumping weapons and money, you are familiar with that Russian small arm known as the AK-47? It is ubiquitous. Weapon of choice for revolutionaries and third-world despots.
As for those "cheap labor markets", globalism did not get really going until the Cold War ended. If people in third-world countries want to live in the worker's paradise they are free to do so.
What exactly is an authoritaian conservative? That is a redundancy.

"--- What exactly is an authoritaian conservative? That is a redundancy. ---"
Permit me to disabuse those who would calumniate conservatism thus; classic American conservatism feasts at the Table of Liberty, and is not always opposed to change, so long as said change is done in a measured and cautious manner so as to be continually evaluated for results.
It is not the philosophy of hand-holding, compulsion, and coddling of otherwise unwilling participants in our Republic - but we will readily encourage men and women who love Liberty to join hands regardless of their creeds, colours, or religions.
Neo-conservatism on the other hand, does seem to walk hand-in-hand with authoritarianism. A not altogether unexpected thing, either... as many of the modern neo-conservatives in Washington's Halls of Power (those whose flawed understanding and flawed implementation of policy based upon Marvin Olasky's seminal work on Compassionate Conservatism have wreaked much woe to our nation thus far) were youthful advocates of big government liberalism.
To these men, compulsion and a clear demarcation and delegation of authority was the New Deal Liberal's staff of life toward keeping things running... often with much less than machined, Prussian efficiency.
