Well, this is just stupid. But it isn't stopping the media from proclaiming "he's" pregnant. "Thomas" Beatie is a woman who only went part way with a gender re-assignment process and Beatie is now claiming "he" is pregnant. The Advocate item here.
Oregon Man Says He's Pregnant
Transgendered Man Writes In 'The Advocate'
Thomas Beatie, who used to be a woman, appeared in the most recent issue of The Advocate, a magazine for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender readers, Portland, Ore., television station KPTV reported.
Beatie wrote the article, which includes a picture of him while he was 22 weeks pregnant. According to the story, he went through a sex change, but decided only to have chest reconstruction and testosterone therapy.
He wrote in The Advocate that their situation "sparks legal, political and social unknowns."
Speaking of unknown ... after all, the happy couple is still a package short of a full-load, if you get my drift.
In total, nine different doctors have been involved. This is why it took over one year to get access to a cryogenic sperm bank to purchase anonymous donor vials, and why Nancy and I eventually resorted to home insemination.

She was born with a womb, her sex never changed; no matter how much butchery she does to herself.
Artifical.

"--- ...no matter how much butchery she does to herself ---"
"Butch" being the operative word.
Heh. Had to go there. :P
I'd say that "legally" she may be a man, but physiologically a woman. Of course, you know that this will be played up as a test case all the way up to the SCOTUS if need be, for demanding gay marriage and gay adoptions and gay child-rearing equality and the recognitions of all other perversions of God's perfect plan for the family - a man (physiologically) and a woman (physiologically) whose lives are knit together as one flesh in holy matrimony - across the board, "for the sake of the children".
And they got themselves one pickle of a case: if Ms. Beatie is legally a "Mr.", under most current laws, there is no reason why they should not retain custody of the child as a "normal" couple.
At any rate, the pregnancy should be carried to term, and the child cared for by its "natural" parents.

"Speaking of unknown"
Well, there is one good thing to come out(ha) of this situation. At least we know where chris lives now. See, another unknown solved. Congratulations on your pregnancy, chris.

'gay marriage'
I wish someone, anyone, would explain to me what 'same-sex union between a man and a woman' means?
This is the problem with Marxist law, Marxist lawyers and those Marxist law professors who indoctrinate Marxism, they must make up meaningless words to justify static, spastic, irrational feelings.
See 'fetus' for example.

Settle down, lazy man. Guys with lesbian daughters shouldn't throw stones. Wait until she brings her partner home.

Here I am, congratulating you on your achievement, chris, and what do I get? Insults. But I guess I should let this go. Pregnant people are very emotional.

I feel sorry for the person.
Can't imagine having feelings so strong that you'd surgically change your sex.
He/she has my sympathy. Hope he/she finds some peace.

Typical. When an entire segment of society is out of touch with reality. And this not a 'homophobic' remark. I refer to the left. Here only does the pregnancy of a really butch looking lesbian, who had hormone therapy and double mastectomies become the 'first ever male pregnancy.' Don't confuse the issue with facts folks.
