Three syllables:

O - Ba - Ma

Heil - Hit - Ler

We can make our nation better. We can be the best nation in the world. We can make every citizen's life better. Rally around me. I am your way to the future.

Is this 2008? Or 1938?

Promised me a pony, he did.

Obama = Hitler. That's so moronic it doesn't even deserve the effort of a rebuttal.

Like Obama, they really aren't saying much of anything.

no, it's 1984. Is this the queue for the Two Minute Hate?

Perhaps Dan is finally noticing exactly what we're up against?

TIME TO GROW UP AND VOTE MCCAIN. Stop whining about how our candidate didn't win. Think how much damage Hillary would do if she nationalized healthcare* and went after the energy sector. Think how much damage Barack would do if he actually tried to pull us out of Iraq. DON'T DO THAT TO THE TROOPS. DON'T DO THAT TO US.

*Example: Hillary's mandatory health coverage -> massive cost increases -> "we've got to punish those greedy pharma/hmo/providers" -> price controls -> rationing & velvet fascist cost control measures like "no tax payer funded operations for you, fatty".

P.S: Oh Ba Ma == Heil Hit ler, NOT Obama == Hitler. The point was that these stupid sheep are ready to follow their master's call, not whether their master is ready to stuff people into ovens.

These folks would have fit in well with the Rainbow Family at Jim Jones' People's Temple. Didn't Jones promise "uplift", hope and transcendence? That all turned out to be the promised Utopia, too, didn't it?

Kool-aid anyone?

so following bush and supporting the president in time of war is something every american must do? But liking Obama alot is just ridiculous. Got it

I love the Nazi and 1984 comparisons. This was done by a few artists and celebrities. No one in the government was involved. And come on wingers, do you have to live up to old-men-who-just-discovered-the-internet stereotypes on a daily basis? This "new" video is a month old. Sheesh, you guys are pathetic and out of touch.

Don't feel so bad wingnuts, will.i.am made a video for McCain too

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3gwqEneBKUs&feature=related

Rofl, you guys have no idea how to use the internet

That's cool, LOL. I have no problem with that video at all. You really don't get it, do you? I mean, you think that Obama / MTV bullshit is going to win you the presidency? Or that when adult voters who actually show up appreciate that Obama's "no BS" is really nothing but BS and McCain addressing issues with candor and clarity (how long we been in Europe, NKor, etc?) is the real "no BS" deal, they'll not go with McCain in good numbers?

Good luck with your usual Democrat, assclown silliness, friend. I'd bet on McCain over either Dem any day of the week. It'll be fun watching you idiots melt down onece again come November. It's getting to be a tradition. Assuming you even have a nominee by then, of course!! lol

ah sad pathetic old man. I'm not running for the presidency buddy. Passionate support for a presidential candidate is nothing new buddy. You say the video makes you sick, but it's really tame compared to the sick kind of reverence wingnuts have heaped at Bush's feet over the years.

http://www.salon.com/opinion/greenwald/2008/03/06/scary/index.html

It's cool Dan. The Dems won big last November, your predictions now are just like your predictions about George Allen. and you're flip-flopping on McCain is just too precious. You're transparent. You have no morals and you don't care about anything except hating on liberals. Don't you see that? When's the last post you made about something you think is awesome in America? There aren't any. Your website has become and endless 2-minute hate on liberals, and much like the modern conservative movement, no real positive values bring wingnuts together. Modern conservatism is a coalition based on shared hate objects and nothing else. Good luck with that recipe.

"a coalition based on shared hate objects and nothing else." -Sounds like Bush Derangement Syndrome to me.

Libs got lucky in 2006 due to Bush's failings. I don't like many of McCain's policies, but I can appreciate his ability to blow past his opponents. Your only hope is Hillary, because Barack "vote for me, because my spoiled bitch wife hates America and we are the change we've been waiting for" is a sure fire LOOOOOOSSSSSEERRR.

Speaking of spoiled bitch wives, I wonder if Cindy is still stealing pills for the PAIN??? Semper Fi, patriot. Your broken old man is a WINNER!!!

That, oh reading comprehension challanged one, is not what I said.

The only candidate that brought out the young, first time voters in record numbers before now was John Fitzgerald Kennedy. But there were no crying women standing on the stage with him, no fainting followers who were so overwhelmed by his Messianic messages that they had to be treated by EMS.

But there were for earlier Messiahs like Jim Jones and Adolph Hitler. Throngs of mesmerized followers who believed that they, and only they, could lead them out of the darkness. We know how well that worked out. But Barack (He Whose Middle Name Cannot Be Spoken) Obama knows better than to promise that which he cannot produce. So he promises hope, change, without substance, using the concept that this nation is bad and only he can lead it out of the darkness that has engulfed it.
But Barack (HWMNCBS) Obama will disappoint. He cannot promise much to some without taking much from others.
This nation was built on personal individualism, not on the collective good. Perhaps you, and Obama, should read the Constitution and the Bill of Rights then have someone explain that to you.

I can understand why after eight years of George Bush's butchered syntax Republicans are so threatened by a politician who can actually command the English language and move people with words. That's what your BS Hitler comparisons boil down to, that he's a great speaker and he's able to excite people with ideas and words. Oooh, a Democrat does that gives great speeches, sooo scary.

Let me quote Ronald Reagan: Are you better off now than you were four (eight) years ago? That's McCain's problem. And if the economy goes in the tank - like it looks like it may - it's gonna get even worse. If gas is $4 a gallon at election time, we're in recession, McCain is still talking about being Bush III and singing bomb, bomb, bomb Iran, it's gonna be a landslide.

Since something like 40% of registered voters don't vote, if Obama motivates even a small percentage of them, it will be an even bigger landslide.

Worst President Ever, so you are going to vote for a man who is articulate over substance? That means that you would have never voted for Thomas Jefferson. Jefferson was a terrible public speaker, having a quiet voice that never made it past the second row of listeners and he was so nervous speaking in public he made others read his "state of the nation" report.

I am glad to know that you can be swayed by pretty, EMPTY words.

Now, about that $4.00 gas. I would be more than happy to provide the words I took from Nancy Pelosi's own website how we were being told that if we would just put the Democrats in control, THEY (the Congress) would bring down gas prices. What happened? One of two things: either Pelosi knew that it was really the president, and not Congress, that controls gas prices and she lied to us or it is the Congress that controls gas prices and the Democratic Congress has done nothing about them.

Which is it?

It seems to me commodity prices like those on gold and oil go up when the value of the dollar goes down. Agreed? What makes the value of the dollar go down? At least in large part, increased government spending, and infusion of cash into the monetary system resulting in large part from the increased spending.

Which part of our Three-part government has the responsibility and authority to spend government funds? The President...Bbbyyyyyyaaaahhhhhh. Wrong answer. It is the Congress. Since 2006, it is the Democraticic Congress.

WPE&LOL. PhDs in Economics from the ivy league perhaps?

Funny thing about the $4 gas, your stammering leader didn't know anything about it. It makes you wonder what that dipshit DOES know about??

BTW, Dan, thanks for sharing this comic video with us. Haven't seen anything this funny since Richard Pryor.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0076913/

He know a little about canalizing the enemies of our country in wide open spaces where they can be defeated far from our homeland, among other things.

Say, Boobala, do me a big favor. Tell me how Obama or Hillery is going to reduce oil prices.

Hey, Boob, remember that deck of poker cards with 52 of our key enemies represented? That deck has a lot of cards missing now.

The guy on the tape drew inspiration from somebody for his name. Wonder who?
http://www.seussville.com/games/lb_sam_i_am.html

What's your measure of substance? Does McCain's being an adulterer count?

Gas price in 2001: Around $27 a barrel
Gas Price today: $100+ a barrel

Bush hasn't presented a balanced budget since he's been in office. And he never includes the cost of the war - the one that wasn't going to cost us anyting - in his budget, he tacks those on in "supplementals".

George Bush inherited a government with a budget surplus. Fiscal Conservative Bush has completely blown that out of the water.

Again, to quote Ronald Reagan: Are you better off today than you were eight years ago?

You don't lis lis listen, WPE. Though I shouldn't have to tell you this. It is High School Civics (in fact I suspect you do know it, but it doesn't fit well into your smear campaign so you ignore it).

"Bush hasn't presented a balanced budget since..." And to whom, may I ask, does the President submit his budget for approval? The Supreme Court...Bbbyyyyyyaaaahhhhhh. Wrong answer. It is the Congress. Since 2006, it is the Democraticic Congress.

And when the Democraticic Congress gets his request for approval do they fight to make him reduce it? Yes, they do...Bbbyyyyyyaaaahhhhhh. Wrong answer. They increase it. They increase it? Yes they do. They try to give him more than he asks for. Why is that. WPE?

"Again, to quote Ronald Reagan: Are you better off today than you were eight years ago?"
The answer is yes, I sure am. I don't know about you.

What is your measure of substance, WorstPresident? Is admitting to the use of hard drugs count? Is accepting campaign money from a crook who is under federal investigation acceptable? How about being friends with a home grown terrorist from Weather Underground that tried to kill military officers? Acceptable in your book?
Last time I checked, drug use is illegal. Cheating on your wife is not.

Now here is some reading for you while you sip the Obama Koolaid:

From Pelosi's own website:

Tuesday, April 18, 2006

Washington, D.C. - House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi released the following statement today on news reports that the price of oil has skyrocketed to more than $70 a barrel:

"Democrats have a plan to lower gas prices, taking America in a new direction that works for everyone, not just a few. Our plan would empower the Federal Trade Commission to crack down on price gouging to help bring down skyrocketing gas prices, increase production of alternate fuels, and rescind the billions of dollars in taxpayer subsidies, tax breaks and royalty relife given to big oil and gas companies."

And from the California Chronicle:

April 24, 2006

Pelosi is quoted

"With skyrocketing gas prices, it is clear that the American people can no longer afford the Republican Rubber Stamp congress and it's failure to stand up to Republican big oil and gas company cronies. Americans this week are paying $2.91 a gallon on average for regular gasoline - 33 cents higher thatn last month, and doubel the price than when President Bush first took office.

Speaker Hastert and the Republican Congress continue to give the American people empty rhetoric rather than join Democrats who are working to lower gas prices now."

Funny how she was so concerned about gas prices in the lead up to the Nov. '06 elections. If we just voted in her cronies, we would see the "new" Democratic Congress bring down gas prices.

So tell me, what happened? Did she lie knowing that only the President can do that or is the Democratic Congress, under her leadership, failing to keep their promises? You can't have it both ways. Either she knew the Congress had no control or she didn't. And if she didn't, and claimed they did, should she be in the position of power she is?

Dems won back Congress in Nov, 2006. Count 'em up Fred - that's ONE budget.

How long's Bush been president? How long's he and the Republicans have claimed to be fiscally conservative? When was the last time they actually presented a balanced budget?

When was the last time the US had a balanced budget? Under those damn tax and spend liberals.

There's lots of politicians including a number of Republicans that have admitted drug use. It's a non-issue anymore for most voters.

Dems can't actually get any legislation through - it takes veto-proof majorities in both houses. The Dems don't have that. So yeah, Pelosi exaggerated what she could get done, but she's not running the country - George Bush is. The oil price spike is largely a result of his Middle East and monetary policy. And if you think it's high now, just wait for McCain to bomb, bomb, bomb Iran.

So Ronald Reagan asks again: Are you better off now than you were eight years ago?

WPE, perhaps a high school Civics class would serve you well. It is Congress, not the Executive branch, that holds the purse strings. It is Congress, not the Executive, that determines where taxpayer dollars are spent.
And who is the biggest porker bellying up to the trough? John Murtha. Want to take a guess what letter is behind his name? Name the Democrats who have taken the pledge to not request any pork for their districts for at least one year...................
(crickets churping)

If you are so concerned about being fiscally conservative (which I doubt) then you should be for McCain who IS fiscally responsible. And how much pork did Obama request in 2005 and 2006? No one knows and he ain't saying.

WPE, why would you even bring up infidelity in a politican's marriage when we have the "Bubba Example"? And if you think drug use is acceptable, why have all you left wingers been screaming about Bush's DWI when he was 20 and his "unproven" drug use? I guess it is like how military service was soooo important when that dimwit, Kerry, was you annointed one, but now it doesn't matter AGAIN since it was not important when a draft dodger was elected.

Again, it is the Congress that holds the purse strings, not the Executive. And I see that you have no problem with the woman who stuck her head in the marble ceiling sticking her foot in her mouth. You only seem to want to hold Republicans accountable, but not Democrats. That makes you a cheap political hack.

Infidelity was frowned on by republicans when Clinton was in office - remember the impeachment trial. I'm curious how McCain, with his record of infidelity, is looked on by all those impeachment supporters. Seems to be OK if you're a republican. Or maybe it's just okay when the woman younger, good-looking and rich. Emphasis on the rich.

McCain's a republican. Studying the fiscal record of Republican presidents - Reagan (8 years), Bush (4 years), and Bush (8 years) - they blow the budget out of the water everytime, never fails. Why anyone would trust a Republican with their tax dollars is beyond me. They can't even run the RNC with a balanced budget. The REAL fiscal conservatives are the Democrats - the numbers prove it. Clinton BALANCED the budget.

I guess you're confused about how the real world works. The budget process is largely controlled by the president - Bush, and his party in congress - the republicans. The democrats can't do anything without a VETO PROOF MAJORITY, which they don't have. Or don't you understand how the legislative process actually works?

What, exactly, of substance has McCain done in his 26 years in congress? He's got a very weak legislative record. I think McCain-Feingold is the biggest accomplishment of his career. And I'm betting you hate that one. And then there's the Keating Five episode.

You still haven't answered: Are you better off now than you were eight years ago?

pork spending is nothing compared to the spending in iraq. So if you cared about taxes/the budget that would be your #1 priority. Furthermore, it isn't getting much of a return. Also, pork spending skyrocketed during the Republican controlled years while Tom Delay was head of the House. It has gone down since Pelosi took over. So really none of your criticisms make any sense retire05.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/10/01/AR2005100100944.html

Bush had 6 years to veto or reign in his own party's pork spending and never did. If you think he cares about responsible budgeting, you're deluded. But that's no shocker.

WPE...

Yes, I am CERTAINLY better off than I was 8 years ago.

...AND SO IS THE REST OF THE COUNTRY SINCE NOW WE ACTUALLY TAKE THE TIME TO HUNT DOWN AND KILL TERRORISTS RATHER THAN WRING OUR HANDS, WET OUR PANTS AND THEN DECIDE THERE'S NO LEGAL BASIS TO HOLD/ARREST/KILL THEM SO LONG AS THEY JUST KEEP HITTING OVERSEAS TARGETS.

Lets think this through, patriot. If you take a 200K liberators and put them in a 3rd world country the size of California it isn't too hard to find 50 people in 5 years. Sadly for the Decider and what remains of his followers, not a single WMD was found. At least your stammering leader got to put on his pilot costume and declare 'victory'.

Also, what part of that Grandpa's military 'experience' would recommend him to be President? He only got into Annapolis because of Daddy, finished at the bottom of his class and then became a subpar pilot who wasn't able to stay airborne. See any parallels between this old man and another 'conservative' hero?? You patriots sure like idiots.

Are you referring to the way we hunted down and killed Osama Bin Laden? Oh wait, President Bush said he doesn't think about him anymore.

Bob, LOL and WPE:

Tell me what exactly Brother Love and his Travelling Salvation Show will do about high gas prices?

How will handing a military victory in Iraq to jihadists improve American national security? How will it improve morale in our armed forces?

How can you fall for Obama's empty rhetoric?

My guess is that you are critical sufferers of BDS.

Nancy Pelosi wants to tax American oil companies and give Hugo Chavez a tax exemption. That will reduce oil prices.

I'm sure Obama has a plan to reduce American consumption of oil. Reduce the demand and you reduce the price. It won't be easy though, and in the long run, the cost is always going to go up. I've never been one to blame Bush for the high cost of gas. But, it was the Bush administration which stated that the cost of gas would be lower after we won in Iraq. How many days has it been since Mission Accomplished? It's not my fault that his administration made this argument prior to the war, and since they did, it is a legitimate thing to point out.

Turning Iraq into a jihadist victory? What a dumb little strawman you're burning there. I hope arguing with yourself is pleasant. There is no monolithic jihadist force to turn Iraq over to. I find this line of reasoning humorous and sad. You have no idea what's going on in the world do you? There isn't one united anti-US faction ready to take over Iraq the minute we leave. There are several warring factions. The Iraq war resembles the civil war in Yugoslavia more than it resembles the American civil war. Why can't you wingtards get this? Look at it this way, right now we are giving and selling weapons to people that we will probably be fighting in 10 to 20 years. Whether McCain, Clinton, or Obama wins it doesn't matter. This is a fact, and has happened time and again with US intervention in this region. The Shiites, the Baathists, giving these people weapons to kill off today's enemy is only providing them with the means to become tomorrow's enemy. It is one of the few prescient remarks Ron Paul made during his debates. Wake up and realize this: Your tax dollars right now are giving arms to Iraqis who will one day be shooting Americans.

As for the troops morale? Bullcrap. The troops gave substantially more money to antiwar Ron Paul and Barack Obama than any other presidential candidate this race. They gave more than twice as much money to Paul as all the prowar candidates combined. Do you see what that means? I'll tell you what will improve morale: Stop these ridiculous unending tours of duty, where soldiers have to spend 18-24 in Iraq with little to no time to see their families. Don't believe it's that bad? Well, why aren't you over there serving if it's so important and not so difficult?

18-24 months that is

Dec. 2, 2007
According to the FEC, the top 10 candidates in contributions from military members last quarter are:

1. Ron Paul: $27,009

2. Barack Obama: $18,891

3. John McCain: $17,919

4. Fred Thompson: $15,225

5. Hillary Clinton: $10,855

6. Mike Huckabee: $5,900

7. Mitt Romney: $4,060

8. Rudy Giuliani: $3,000

9. John Edwards: $1,245

10. Joe Biden: $1,175

These figures are not impressive, and "military" covers a lot of people who are not necessarily in the armed services.

How is Bomb, bomb, bomb Iran McCain going to lower gas prices? Bomb Iran and gas prices are going over $5.00 a gallon. Add that to the current economic problems and you have a depression in the making.

How's Obama going to lower gas prices?

1. End the brain-dead war in Iraq
2. Don't bomb Iran
3. Hire some competent people to run the government
4. Raise the CAFE standards
5. Bring alternative energy technology to market.

How's Obama going to lower gas prices?

1. End the brain-dead war in Iraq....Great idea, except with Obie's strategy a blood bath will ensue in 3-6 months.

2. Don't bomb Iran....Kinda stupid, no one is going to do this until they get a nuke. Israel will never allow them to test it. PLUS!! Iran will movbe into Iraq to save it from itself making the civil war bloodbath look like a fist fight.

3. Hire some competent people to run the government.....Presidents dont "hire", they Appoint. Semantics I know, but indicative of the average american's knowledge of government. Who in government sets oil prices?

4. Raise the CAFE standards, 5. Bring alternative energy technology to market. Both good ideas that will take years and billions to implement. CAFE will be the quickest and by the end of Obie's first term my be showing some results. Alternate energy? Bush has tossed big bucks into hydrogen cells which has done little. Most "alternates" are a trade off and the infrastructure to get it to the consumer is not there.

I saw nothing about opening new oil fields, building new refineries to use the amle oil/gas that is still out there............... From the Big rockcandy Mountain!!!!!!

From LOL (note how a great mind penetrates to the answer of any puzzle): "pork spending is nothing compared to the spending in iraq."

To some idiots, this appears to be a convincing argument to justify pork spending. This brilliant syllogism goes like this:
Spending on the war is bad.
Spending on pork is less spending.
ERGO: (wait for it)...Spending on pork is good.

Wahoo, my dad used to sing that song to me when I was a kid. Great old song from the days of the hobos.

"

"In the Big Rock Candy Mountains there's a land that's fair and bright
Where the handouts grow on bushes and you sleep out every night
Where the boxcars are all empty and the sun shines every day
On the birds and the bees and the cigarette trees
Where the lemonade springs where the bluebird sings
In the Big Rock Candy Mountains"

"Great old song from the days of the hobos."

Yep Fred, the original version (not Burl Ives) is great. I'm hearing it's going to be Obamarama's campaign song for the BIG GAME.

"In the Big Rock Candy Mountains all the cops have wooden legs
And the bulldogs all have rubber teeth and the hens lay soft boiled eggs
The farmer's trees are full of fruit and the barns are full of hay
Oh, I'm bound to go where there ain't no snow
Where the rain don't fall and the wind don't blow
In the Big Rock Candy Mountains"

This is most certainly an example of Obama's "Audacity of Hope" and perhaps the "Inconvenient Truth" by Algore ("...there ain't no snow
Where the rain don't fall and the wind don't blow...").

Lyrics from Bluegrass.com I believe.

Here is another song my dad sang for me:

t was midnight on the ocean,
Not a streetcar was in sight,
And the sun was shining brightly,
For it rained all day that night.
'Twas a summer night in winter,
And the rain was snowing fast,
And a barefoot boy with shoes on
Stood sitting in the grass.

It was evening and the rising sun
Was setting in the west.
The little fishes in the trees
Were huddled in their nest.
The rain was pouring down
And the moon was shining bright,
And everything that you could see
Was hidden out of sight.

The cows were making cowslips
And the bells were ringing wet,
And the bumblebees were making bums
And smoking cigarettes.
And a man slept in a stable
And came out a little ho(a)rse,
So he hopped upon his golf sticks
And drove all around the course.
