Kind of hard for Obama to distance himself from Jeremiah Wright, wouldn't you say? Geesh, he even does a little bit of the Hillary drawl in this video shout-out to Wright.

» Jeremiah Wright: Obama's Idea of a Great Leader from Moonbattery
Via Riehl World View, here's another video that had better become scarce if BHO is to be our first black supremacist president: "A friend and a great leader, not just in Chicago but across the country." No wonder the viciously... [Read More]

Jeremiah the prophet lived after the diaspora of the Northern Kingdom of Israel (the ten so-called "lost tribes") but preached to the Kingdom of Judah (containing mostly Judeans, Benjaminites, and a minority of some Simeonites and Levite priests).
His message was one of calling Judah to repentance, and yes, the people of Judah (and especially the government of King Jehoiachim) who refused to listen to God's call.
Like any nation in rebellion against God's authority, God judged Judah after a long time of sending prophets and preachers to warn her people to repent of their grievous wickedness. Perhaps especially so, since the Jews were the stewards of the Word of God at that time.
To compare the black nationalist "preacher", Jeremeiah Wright, who in his own words condemns America, not for its gross sins of sexual immorality, promotion of vice and the convenient murder of helpless babies... but rather for all the "rich white men" who constitute much of the ruling class, to this itinerant prophet who put himself to considerable pain to bring the Word of God to a rebellious and stiff-necked people who refused to hear him is a farce at best.
America faces a harsh judgment, but not for the reasons Jeremiah Wright says are so.

rofl it's teh GAYS!!! Wright also has preached against how men abuse their workers, lied the country into a war, and have slaughtered thousands of innocents. These seem like despicable things, you know, killing people with bombs, but i forgot, what really matters is that GAY PEOPLE ARE HAVING SEX AND IT NEEDS TO STOP

Huh? Gays? Did I specifically mention them?
I actually wrote "sexual immorality", which runs the gamut from sodomy (homosexual activity) to adultery to fornication (including porn) to name but a few instances.

"Huh? Gays? Did I specifically mention them?"
What difference would that make to LOL? Here is how LOL's mind works: "Wright also has preached against how men abuse their workers..." Has Wright also preached against how workers defraud and steal from their employers? No. Why not? It doesn't fit into his world view. LOL also perpetuates the Lie that Bush lied about WMD in spite of overwhelming evidence to the contrary presented to LOL right here. "...lied the country into a war..."
Now I would agree with LOL about bombs if LOL were talking about the terrorists' bombs. But LOL knows Wright is talking about the military of the U.S., who were obeying the lawful orders of their superiors, ultimately civilians elected, or appointed by those elected, by the people. Here's the way LOL puts it: "...despicable things, you know, killing people with bombs..."
LOL has no problem with Wright simply because LOL agrees with him, seemingly about everything. That is why I take rather a dim view of LOL most of the time. Hell, all the time.
