Actually, Chris Cillizza (heretofore to be pronounced See-Sleaze-Ya'll) at WaPo's The Fix blog commits two major sins against the Right-side grass roots: 1 - he left out Mark Levin, and 2) well, read it yourself. Evidently Cillizza simply cannot comprehend that more than a few people in America happen to share many of the views related by Right-side talking heads - and when they diverge, they're simply ignored. No, we're just a bunch of idiots waiting to be told what to do.
Make no mistake: Rush Limbaugh (and Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham etc.) are a very powerful voice within the Republican party. Conservatives watch and listen to them daily and often take their marching orders directly from the mouths of these hosts.
I can't wait until Rush comes on at Noon so I can call in and see how to respond to Cillizza's ignorance. And I certainly can't wait until 6 PM to ask, Now what would Levin do. Though I could venture a guess.

Gee I wish I could make a comment here, but shucks I can't. I have to wait for noon eastern time. This is when I can tune into Limbaugh to get my marching orders for the day. I hope he orders me to march to the liquor store for some heavy duty spirits. I may need them tonight as I read the results coming in.

I did think of one question, though. Why does Chris Chillidip have a photo of Chevy Chase next to Chris's byline?
Posted by: Fred Beloit | Tuesday, February 05, 2008 at 09:22 AM
Haha - the cons are calling people ingorant. I'm sure that your bloated, drug-addicted hero will tell you otherwise.
Posted by: Chris | Tuesday, February 05, 2008 at 09:38 AM
I hope "Mr." Cillizza realizes that saying mean things about the conservative base - the most politically relevant element in American political politics - will only heap upon him the ire of Patriotic Conservatives, as we listen intently to Rush this afternoon. We will THEN tell "him" what Rush told us to say - er um, what WE think of his mean comments.

chris/Boob where did you hear that prisoners are calling people ignorant?
Posted by: Fred Beloit | Tuesday, February 05, 2008 at 09:48 AM
Here I'll agree with you. If conservatives took their marching orders from the yakkers, McCain would be going down to defeat tonight.
Posted by: Brainster | Tuesday, February 05, 2008 at 09:51 AM
He(chris/Boob) heard it in his prison cell, Fred. Those guppies in Conland(short for Connecticutt) prisons let the inmates run the asylum, thus allowing idiots like the Boob to have internet access. What a world we live in.

p.s. The use of "heretofore" is not proper in this context.

He's probably doing a ten-spot, Temp. No big deal though, probably just some white collar collar.

Your grammarian skills have been duly noted, and ignored. Thank you for your service to the Republic.

I'm sure that the esteemed Limbaugh Letter - designed to give talking points to semiliterate mouthbreathers, will have a lot to say on this topic.
Posted by: Chris | Tuesday, February 05, 2008 at 11:04 AM
Wow, the level of Chris's discourse is simply staggering. How can we compete in the face of such an intellectual giant?
Posted by: Techie | Tuesday, February 05, 2008 at 11:06 AM
Yes, the Limbaugh Letters will heretofore be scrutinized by serious and reasoned conservatives, so that we may seriously and reasonably heretofore march ourselves into the dustbin of history.

Limbaugh is an entertainer. Dole is the real deal.
I hope you people realize that.
In any, if Limbaugh doesn't attack Dole today, let's count how many "Dole is a loser. Get back into your cage, Dole" posts there are in the blogosphere.
If Limbaugh attacks Dole, let's count how many crazy Kill Dole posts pop up after this.

Why does Bob Dole's wife smile so much? She looks fake and creepy (kinda like Laura).
Posted by: Chris | Tuesday, February 05, 2008 at 11:52 AM
Chrissy, don't you need to get off the 'puter and clean the house or run errands? Don't be late to pick up the kids from school again.

Eh? Bob Dole?
Big whoop, I say. I really don't think his endorsement amounts to a whole lot at this point.
I reckon he discredited himself enough with his ... heh heh... attempt to run for POTUS in '96.

"Wow, the level of Chris's discourse is simply staggering." Techie, our Chrissy is a frustrated, slightly overweight, stay at home, soccer-mom with a superiority complex approaching the big 40. Hubby was an adorable, really fun party boy back in school but he just can't seem to rise above that point in his life. She hates the people next door because they have so much more than her, new car, big screen tv, vacations. Chrissy figures if we can just get a "woman" in teh whitehouse, everything will be ok. Ferrets will sniff out the rich, take their money and give it to people like her. We will all be "taken care of" by the government. She doesn't give a crap about what it will cost her and her family. By god her children will get to go to college for "free" and their every sniffle will be taken care of by "free" doctors. She's very, very unhappy our little Chrissy and so she hates everything and everyone as much as herself. Be easy on her Techie.

Wow, what a fascinating analysis. You seem to both have a great deal of free time AND spend it thinking about who I am and what my background is. Kinda creepy, actually. You sad little cons really sound lonely. Perhaps a trip to Walmart and a new shiny yellow ribbon magnet would brighten up your day.
Posted by: Chris | Tuesday, February 05, 2008 at 01:16 PM
Ah Chrissy, did I touch a nerve? Yes sweetie, I do have plenty of free time because I retired quite early. I'm one of those people you hate. No I don't spend much time thinking of you because I've known you all my life. Oh different names, different sexes and even different skin tones but always the same sad, defeated soul yearning to be taken care of. All you have EVER posted here are the same OLD, TIRED bumper sticker slogans of the truly ingenius. You have NEVER made any attempt to make an actual point or to share WHY you believe you want a mommmy state, where your every need is handled by the government. MY GAWD, even LameLLama, an obvious high school kid, can state a point of view and explain her beliefs on a subject. You? you are so lacking in creativity that we all think you're Boob's alter ego. So why dont you try just one Chrissy, before Oprah comes on why dont you tell us all why you have no problem giving up even more of YOUR money to "help" people who have no desire to work as hard as you do? How much of your income are you willing to lose for your nanny state?

"Perhaps a trip to Walmart and a new shiny yellow ribbon magnet would brighten up your day."
Now that you mention it and the sun is finally out, I believe I'll take the boat for a spin. THAT will brighten my day. Enjoy watching Oprah and dont forget soccer practice.

Such anger. Such free time. Why not be productive and channel it towards bringing 'evil-doers' to justice or keeping them there messicans out of 'your' country? I hope that the eldrely senator from AZ can count on someone as motivated as you in November.
Posted by: Chris | Tuesday, February 05, 2008 at 01:44 PM
Funny how Chrissy's "yellow ribbon magnet" bumper sticker thinking is so ... consistently dumb.
She simply hates troops and Americans in general, just like her heroes at MoveOn.org told her to.
Posted by: seekeronos | Tuesday, February 05, 2008 at 03:28 PM
Wait, so Chris Cilliza writes a column effectively stating that the party needs to hang together or hang separately, and this makes him a villain? Really? I mean... really?
I got this translation: "Gee, many people listen to right wing radio and trust it. So right wing radio needs to get ready to back the heir apparent to the Republican nomination."
Maybe I'm just reading it wrong, but it sounds like Chris is talking strategy for an '08 win. I am honestly beginning to question whether the Republicans want to win in November. Are you guys taking a dive deliberately, or is this all subliminal?
Posted by: IslamoLlama | Tuesday, February 05, 2008 at 03:45 PM
The idiots on the left keep projecting. They insist that the right takes marching orders which the talk radio hosts get from Rove and broadcast to their listeners. However, the only coordinated communication we've seen evidence for concerned a large group of left-wing bloggers.

I agree with Brainster, if Conservatives took their matching orders from those three, McCain wouldn't be doing so well.
