Oh yeah, this is going to leave a mark. Good Lord.
BUFORD, Ga. (AP) - Two off-duty officers from different police departments wounded each other in a gun fight in the middle of a road in an Atlanta suburb, authorities said.
Both officers suffered non-life-threatening wounds, police said. Their conditions were not immediately known on Saturday.
Officer Jay Daily, a five-year veteran of the Duluth Police Department, exchanged multiple gunshots with Fulton County officer Paul Phillips on Friday afternoon, police said.

Here come the Democratics. "That settles it. We must disarm the police." LOL, where are you?

Boob, has invented a new form of bigotry, for which the world must be very grateful. It could be termed Geophobia or geographism. This is unreasoning hatred and prejudice against people on the basis of geography. Congratulations, Boob. The Earth really needed a new bigotry.

The shooting ability of police is appalling...

Ah Fred, DaBoob didn't invent sectionalism, hell we had a big ass war here because of it, he just perpetuates it. Strangely Duluth, Ga is about 3 times as big as Stamford, CT. No, my point about being accused of racism is that it is quite likely that one or both officers is black and they have issues with "darwinism" being applied in any way to them.

You patriots need to lighten up! The Surge is working and you have an 86 year old WAR HERO waiting to represent you in November!

At least Boob woke up from his nap long enough to finally admit the Surge is working. I'll give him credit for that. Now, go back to sleep, Boob, the World doesn't need you. And no thanks for your lack of any service. Amen.

Well, the first officer was in his home town, out of uniform, and involved in a violent altercation with a woman. The second officer was off duty, but still in uniform, and driving a marked police cruiser. Second officer stopped because he witnessed the aforementioned altercation.
Oh, and apparently the first officer fired first.
The first officer's department has since offered glowing recommendations of him.
I suspect a blue-on-blue war is forthcoming if that state's LEO officialdom doesn't get involved.
