Update: Oh - and another thing - I was stuck driving from 3 - 5 or so today, so I was listening to Hannity, as opposed to Rush or Levin, who I actually enjoy. He was going off on Hillary for attacking Obama, as I see are some bloggers, too. I think there's some real misogyny in that. Let the woman fight for God's sake, it's her political life, not yours. And they are both Leftists, taking one side over another isn't about ideology at this point.
I thought her mocking him was great, right on the money. Hannity was trashing it. BS. Why, because he doesn't like Hillary? Or she's a woman? I give her credit for saying what's on many people's minds while fighting for her political life.
You'll likely note swarms of high-minded pundits bemoaning the circulation of the Obama in Muslim garb photo, suggesting it's a terrible mistake, assuming Hillary's people had a hand in circulating it.
Yeah, right. How about some insightful and honest punditry for a change, instead of simply channeling the mainstream media with even more pedestrian crap.
Clue - Texas, Ohio, Pennsylvania and middle class, mostly Blue Collar, Democrat voters. With Wisconsin out of the way, the timing was perfect. Whether or not it'll be enough is hard to say, but it won't hurt Hillary. Obama already has a lock on the upper class liberals who will look down their noses at the tactic. It was the smart play for her campaign given where things stand. It might be the only play they have left and they need these states to stay in after next week. It's no time for holding back anything.

Why is Osama... I mean Obam concerned about a picture taken of him in a public place with his knowlege..why does he want to hide the truth?

The media and the pundits are going nuts, blaming Hillary for the photo and also for her sarcastic take on the Obama campaign. As one who grew up in a steel town in Western PA, I say go girl! The clip on the sarcasm segment of her speech in Rhode Island made me wish there was even one of her policies I could support. And anyone who thinks that the Obama photo will play well in OH and PA is nuts.
Link to clip, if you haven't seen it a million times on the news. Of course, I tend to react sarcastically when faced with fools, so it plays well with me.

PS: I got the photo from Gateway Pundit and Sweetness and Light, not exactly conduits of the Clinton machine.

Yeah, I loved the sarcsm part too. Frankly if there had been more strength from her all along, instead of I've been inside the whitehouse before so I'm experienced" she would have done much better.

Sweetness and Light has a new post up on the photo and it turns out it is an AP photo and they wrote the caption as well. S&L asks: "So this was an Associated Press photograph. And for a year and half we never saw it.
How very interesting.
What else is our watchdog media hiding from us?"

I enjoy watching these two going at it with each other, no way should either one of them let up.
The more bloodied and battered they enter their convention the better.

Can't stand Hillary but loved the sarcasm. It's about time, and it's a lot better than being all weepy.

I see a titanic struggle brewing on the magnitude of Germany against the Soviet Union in World War II.
With any luck, both sides will lose.

Have you seen the original picture of Obama in his native garb? An example of slick Willy at his best.
Check it out at my site.

Obama’s efforts to connect to the Republican Party, specifically Bush, and Dick Chaney, of the Halliburton Company, dates back to the Presidents Grandfather, Prescott Bush, and indeed Chaney was once an executive officer of Halliburton.
The American military pounds Iraq with Artillary, bombs, and the like, destroying large sections of cities, and infra-structures, then Halliburton comes in to rebuild. Halliburton and Halliburton associated companies have raked in ten’s of billions.
Obama is just like the BIG HALIBURTAN. Haliburton has contracted to build detention centers in the U.S. similiar to the one in Quantanammo Bay, Cuba. Halliburton does nothing to earn the Two Dollars for each meal an American Serviceman in Iraq eats.

Halliburton was scheduled to take control of the Dubai Ports in The United Arab Emiirate. The deal was canceled when Bush was unable to affect the transfer of the American Ports.
Now we see what some might suspect as similiar financial escapading from the Democrats.
Two years ago, Iraq’s Ministry of Electricity gave a $50 million contract to a start-up security company - Companion- owned by now-indicted businessman (TONY REZKO) Tony Rezko and a onetime Chicago cop, Daniel T. Frawley, to train Iraqi power-plant guards in the United States. An Iraqi leadership change left the deal in limbo. Now the company, Companion Security, is working to revive its contract.
Involved along with Antoin “Tony” Rezco, long time friend and neighbor of Democratic Presidential hopeful Barack Obama, and former cop Daniel T. Frawley, is Aiham Alsammarae. Alsammarae was accused of financial corruption by Iraqi authorities and jailed in Iraq last year before escaping and returning here.

Obama should be vetted and disclose his connection to the criminal money generating underworld. Besides, his connections to the REZCO MAFIA types, his up-coming tax fraud charges — Obama needs to disclose why he is a MUSLIM "PATWANG-FWEEE" and stop suppoting our intervention in IRAQ. It’s time to introduce this false, fake Xerox - X box Obama and invite the self-indicting thief plagiarizing pipsqueke "GLORK" Xerox - X box to meet the Buffalo "GAZOWNT-GAZIKKA" Police Department Buffalo Creek. He is MAD!!! --

"GLORK" Obama looks like Alfred E. Newman: "Tales Calculated To Drive You." He is a MUSLIM "Glork" He's MAD!!! Alfred E. Neuman is the fictional mascot of Mad. The face had drifted through American pictography for decades before being claimed by Mad editor Harvey Kurtzman after he spotted it on the bulletin board in the office of Ballantine Books editor Bernard Shir-Cliff, later a contributor to various magazines created by Kurtzman.

Stars Fell on Obama last night.
Wonder why Hillary never pushes the idea that she would be more electable in the general election than Obama? Just wondering.

'Janet', Dubai/PW bought Peninsular & Oriental Shipping; a vertical British firm that goes back to the time of Queen Victoria.they control every major checkpoint between the US and Near East. The role of the Maktoum-Zayed clans in the control of companies like DPW, is a serious
point of consideration. However, The fact that you didn't know that major detail, suggest's He doesn't support our efforts in Iraq; his support of relative and presidential candidate suggest he doesn't support effort in the Horn of Africa. KB&W the main component of
Halliburton, has a shorter but significant career.

Wow... for once, I am speechless.
Just the sheer "audacity of sound" Janet uses to sway her readers that the "Ebil Hawibuhton" is rilly, rilly, rilly, da ebilness!111!!eleven!!
I mean, if the sound of a MUSLIM going "PATWANG-FWEEE" or a "GLORK!" doesn't just make you gush with glee, I don't know what will.

The government could do away with Halliburton and take over operations itself, as was done with airport security. (How do you like the job they are doing?) Somebody in the government thought the private sector could in certain circumstances feed our military better and cheaper than the government could and do a lot of other things better as well. Unfortunately, there are people in the private sector who look for opportunities to cheat the government. But this is no different from we the people cheating our government on a daily basis over things like FEMA, Medicare, Medicaid, and farm subsidies claims.
Somehow, we don't see the government's money as our money. We see money as the Congress does...easy come, easy go.

My apologies, I allowed myself to be distracted from the topic. Good post, Dan. An injection of cold water and reality into political coverage is always helpful.
