What standing do Republicans, especially conservative ones, generally have in the mainstream media? How do they treat politicans on the Right, especially ones that may be successful, or pose a threat to liberalism?
Do they treat them well? Are they fair to them? Or, do they try to take them down?
Here are two headlines clipped as is off of Drudge. Wake up, folks ... figure it out for yourselves.

When Patrick Ruffini put up the poll prior to Fred Thompson "If Fred Thompson dropped out of the race, who would you support." Anyways, besides Romney getting a buttload of support on that poll, there were commentators claiming that Romney was being what the media wanted him to be. Although you got those two articles for example that are obviously against him especially back then when the Concord Monitor said to vote against Romney. Anyways, my point is that I haven't seen Romney act like what the media want him to be and my argument is well supported by a bunch of articles by Newsbusters.org

Whine on, patriot! It's the librul media that tears down American heroes like Chuck Norris' sidekick, the Mormon civil rights marcher and that angry little guy.. Let us be thankful for log-cabin patriots like Drudge to set the record straight.

Florida allows only registered Repubs to vote & will show that a plurality of REAL REPUBLICANS support Romney, and that McCain's Democrat domestic agenda is not acceptable to aforesaid REAL REpubs.
Of course, do we want a strong foreign policy while our borders are overrun by refugees from a kleptocrat narco-state to our south? Or do we want Hillary Clinton to nominate her butch buddy Jamie Gorelick to the SCOTUS? Tough choices, all over the place, as the media will trash any REAL REPUBLICAN who gets the nomination.
They will prefer McCain to the she-wolf and Barack to McCain. Romney loses across the board with the effete nattering nabobs of negativity.
