The Debate Reviews
John Podhoretz: Fred …is not only winning this debate, he is giving the most commanding debate performance we’ve seen from any candidate in either party since the beginning of this endless primary process.
Jim Geraghty: Winner: Thompson. This performance was so commanding, I wanted his last answer to echo back to the lights in the back of the auditorium, blow out all the lamps and spotlights, for the theme to “the Natural” to play, and for him to trot around the stage in slow motion while sparks showered down in the background.
"Could that be the sound of Thompson bouncing?" (Slate.com, 01/10)
"Fred was on a roll." (Politico.com, 01/10)
"Fred drops a daisy cutter on Huck." (Politico.com, 01/10)

"Mr. Thompson draws the biggest applause of the night so far with his litany of accusations against Mr. Huckabee, including the charge that he is basically a Democrat." (New York Times Blog, 01/10)
"This is a fine, fine performance by Fred Thompson." (ABCnews.com 01/10)

Huge Fred supporter here. All I can say is, about time. Will it make a difference, not sure. But I remain.

Clearly Fred has been getting his fiber lately and has gotten a lot of rest. He's amazing as long as he's rested and regular.

Bob,
When do you plan on getting rested and regular?

w00! Go Fred! Let's make this a four man race again!
Maybe if we can see a Fred -> Paul -> Romney -> McCain run in Michigan, the Republican race will get even more interesting.

Yeah, I'm sure people are terrified...he's a republican of the past, a water carrier for Nixon and Reagan...I'm not worried.

A water carrier for Nixon?
Really?
Have you perhaps, by some slight chance, read anything about his role in the Watergate hearings etc?
No?
Not surprising.
