So Much For Those "Bad Guy" Drug Companies
So, it turns out pharmaceutical companies, "the bad guys," have given $70,000 to John McCain. McCain demagogues against them in last night's debate. Given that McCain needs the money, could it be they'll be more likely to pony up to squash the rhetoric? But the real story is on the Democrat side.
But, it turns out, McCain has accepted nearly $70,000 from the pharmaceutical and health products industries — behind only Romney (who received $260,000) and Rudy Giuliani ($140,000) among Republican candidates, according to the nonpartisan Center for Responsive Politics.
It turns out that Hillary is the largest recipient of cash from the evil industry, just ahead of Obama. Could it be that the more things would change under one of them, the more they're likely to just stay the same?
Romney began his answer to the question by warning McCain not to make pharmaceutical companies “the bad guy” in the discussion over health care costs.
“Well, they are,” shot back McCain.
The center’s analysis of FEC records found that through the end of September, McCain had received $69,300 from PACs representing the pharmaceutical and health products industries, as well as employees of companies in those fields and their families.
The two campaigns that got the most cash from those industries were those of Hillary Rodham Clinton, who received $270,000, and Barack Obama, who brought in $260,000, according to the center.

It just means that McCain will not change his position even if you give him a ton of cash. He can not be bought.

Sort of like Ron Paul accepting (and keeping) cash donated by the Neo-Nazi group at Stormfront.org ...
... I guess principles take a back seat to cold, hard filthy cash.
And for the Boob:
I reckon you can't keep your cults straight, but then I remembered that you too, are a cultist: the cult of The Pea-Brained MoonBat.
Like most MoonBats, you thrive on being a hemorrhoid.

I wouldn't blame the pharma. companies if they packed up and left the country, hundreds will if a dhimmi is elected, and refuse to sell any of the modern med's to the U.S. See how many people whine and scream when their family members start dying like flies that have been sprayed with DDT. Ditto for the oil companies. They should shut down a few refineries and send out a memo reminding people that walking isn't crowded, yet. Putting us with garbage from the spoiled American public is a bitch for anyone.
