Romney To Fight On
It'll be a tough fight. But he needs our support. This is becoming a conservative base versus the establishment election. And we can't quit now.

I agree there is still a small chance that republicans will wake up and not nominate a Democrat. btw there is a price for backing McCain - I used to like Rudy but he is dead to me now

Here, here.
I appreciate his military service....but
I do not like his positions on taxes, immigration, free speech restrictions, judicial appointments, etc., etc., etc...
Anyone else want to be a charter member of the CAMmies (Conservatives Against McCain)?
I would be more than happy to contribute $$ for ads to make the public more aware about him.

Don't worry, Spartiekins. Given the chance, the Dems will have a grand time wrecking the nation... and then we will have a grand shot at putting the nation back to rights, and putting your co-partisans and the RiNOs who collaborated with them out to pasture afterward.
If the GOP "establishment" has gone the astray like it did under the Rockefeller Republicans in the 1960s, we will work to get the grass roots and the party back on track.
So go ahead, laugh - laugh while the season permits.

Oh yes the grand ruination of the FDR years...and the Clinton years...low unemployment...low teen pregnancy rates...unprecedented surpluses...that animal...

Brian, I agree about his military service, but it was how many years ago and does he really appreciate the new way of fighting a war? I think not. This turned my stomach last night and my support too is for Mitt. I wish Fred would officially endorse him, maybe it would make some people stop and think.

Dan, via Malkin, apparently 20 percent of the vote in Florida was not GOP- WTF!
This whole thing reeks of a rigging.

I haven't been this depressed since Clinton won his first term. How could a brash, red neck governor from the poorest state in the union beat a certified war hero? Well, it was because he was older than dirt and had spent his entire career in the senate listening to the sound of his own voice. Sound familiar?

"...the gop is imploding...life is beautiful."
Let me see, Obama won't even look at or shake hands with Hillary, so everything with the Democratics is perfect. A dust-up with Republicans is an implosion. You're a wierd guy, Sparty, and I think I know why. It's called MSU, your namesake. You listened to whatever teacher said about politics, and you became his clone. That's so neat!

"--- Oh yes the grand ruination of the FDR years.. ---"
Funny that... there was an awful lot of criticism of FDR's glorious five year plans during the depression and WW2.
In fact, some thought he set in place plans to antagonize the Japanese (via the ABCD blockade) into attacking America to bring her into the war.
And his legacy of the welfare state singlehandedly devastated the African-American population by ensnaring them with the shackles of governmental dependence and hobbling them by programming them with the entitlement mentality that to this day is the feedstock of Democratic politics.
"--- Dan, via Malkin, apparently 20 percent of the vote in Florida was not GOP- WTF!

Not surprising... Florida seems to be the old faithful place to turn to for electoral shenanigans and rigging.

I didn't study politics while at MSU, I did my masters there. Don't let the facts get in the way of a good rant though.
