If I remember correctly, Rasmussen didn't get SC right - FWIW. Romney over McCain 33 to 27, that sounds high to me.
Rudy's support may be peeling off, if it continues - advantage McCain. Responses after the Crist endorsement also suggests it could help.
Rasmussen's model has to be different than some showing a dead heat. Without knowing what those models are, it's a pick 'em situation. And the race still seems fluid.
BTW: From the campaign, Romney picks up an endorsement from Lynn Liz Cheney. Corrected: Geez, who cares?
Back to the poll above - Romney wins on immigration, ties on terror and wins on the economy. I hope this isn't another case of voters glossing over issues and voting for McCain because he's been around longer than dirt.
"I am proud to support Governor Romney. Throughout this campaign, he has distinguished himself as a leader who can guide our country with a clear vision for overcoming the threats we face today. Dedicated to the success of our missions in Iraq and Afghanistan, Governor Romney is the only candidate who has outlined a comprehensive strategy for defeating the global Jihadist threat. I look forward to working with Governor Romney, because he is the leader our country needs," said Liz Cheney.

I believe that the endorsement came from the Cheney daughter, Liz, not Mrs. Lynn Cheney.

This endorsement game has become a big fad and chic trend. Think I'll play.
I am happy to endorse, ladies and gents, a man who can add a new dimension of HOPE and CHANGE to presidential politics. That accomplished and experienced man is Al Franken (formerly Frankenstein). That new dimension is deliberate comedy. Thank you.

It takes a worldly and informed hero to point out such a mistake. Thank you for your service!

"Corrected: Geez, who cares?"
You're starting to sound like a NYT reporter.

Ooh, let me play!
I endorse Mao Zedong as our next president.
I can endorse dead commies, right? I mean we are getting a commie or a far-left liberal no matter what come November, right?
