It's becoming increasingly clear that there's a real fight going on for the future of the Democrat Party. The so-called Progressive movement has obviously decided it's time to move on from Bill and Hillary.
This is starting to look like quite a pattern and I don't think the Clinton machine will get far if they were to start complaining about some mythical vast Left-wing conspiracy. Dick Durbin is warning Clinton to lay-off of Obama. And along with Kerry endorsing Obama, there's McCaskill coming out for him today. Also, there's Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano, an up and comer expected to be a serious player in the future of the Democrat Party. Think about it in terms of how we've been hearing of the Clinton domination of the Democrat Party for years. It's also been said that if Gore were to endorse, he'd likely go for Obama, too.
It's fair to say there's a significant and growing contingent within the Democrat Party that has had enough of the Clintons. They still have plenty of friends. At this point, they'll need them to watch their backs.
Sen. Richard J. Durbin (D-Ill.), the second-ranking party leader in the Senate, says President Bill Clinton’s comments about Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) are getting “too personal” and called on the former president to refrain from attacking Obama’s integrity.
“I’m really troubled by his questioning the sincerity of Barack Obama’s opposition to the war in Iraq,” Durbin said. “I really think it is unfortunate to question Barack’s sincerity on the war. He has been there from the start, opposing this war.”
The unsolicited comments — in a phone call to Politico from Springfield, Ill. — were a sign that the Obama campaign is going to react aggressively to perceived attacks on the senator’s character.

I'm sure Dick "Our Troops are Nazis" Durbin is, even now, thinking about casting his lot with Obama for purely unselfish reasons.
NOT!
Let's see: "The Barackster" is also from Illinois, so, for Dick Durbin, an Obama presidency would most certainly provide two immediate advantages:
1. "Homie" in the Oval Office means more Senate clout.
2. An opportunity to bask in reflected glory.
Can't really fault Durbin for taking advantage of opportunities, but that doesn't make him any less of a reality-denying, self-aggrandizing, tax-raising, ear-marking, military-slandering a**hole.

Hopefully, even the 'rats have come to the realization that two terms of the Clinton adminitratio are enough.

So Turbin Durbin, the friend of the terrorists, who is alone responsible for the death of a lot of American soldiers comes out of his rat hole. Personally I think he should have been tried and shot as a traitor. Maybe Osama Obama will act as a backstop for the bullets.
