Does Bill Clinton even seem like a former President to you, anymore? On the one hand, I find his constant campaigning for Hillary somehow demeaning to the office. But when I see a picture, or read about him, it's almost as if his campaigning has removed the aura of "former president." Or maybe it's not that he's doing it, but how he's doing it.
The New York Times highlights his anger and suggests the campaign wants to rein him in. Just how strong can Hillary be as a leader if she can't even accomplish that? But then, as I think about it, she never could in the past, either, now could she?
Mr. Clinton’s temper has been an issue for him as long as he has been in public life. But it has played an unusual role during the current campaign, his face turning red in public nearly every week, often making headlines as he defends his wife and injects himself, whether or not intentionally, into her race in sometimes distracting ways.
Some Clinton advisers say the campaign is trying to rein him in somewhat, so that his outbursts become less of a factor to reporters, but his flashes of anger only seem to be growing. Last week, for instance, a clearly agitated Mr. Clinton told Dartmouth students that it was a “fairy tale” for Mr. Obama to contend that he had been consistently against the war in Iraq. And in December he said that voters supporting Mr. Obama were willing to “roll the dice” on the presidency.
Somehow I find myself thinking of Thatcher and, what was it, Dennis, the skinny guy she was married to? Not that he would, but 'm thinking if he acted up like this, she'd probably give him the back of her hand! heh Now there was a leader.

Any thoughts on Mitt's latest campaign trail fib? "I don't have lobbyists running my campaign"...cough*Ron Kaufman*cough...

It was a great day ten years ago when the egregious oaf who was equal parts revivalist preacher, snake-oil huckster, and political con artist got caught LITERALLY WITH HIS PANTS DOWN!!! He couldn't lie and cheat his way out of impeachment, and now his frayed edges are starting to show. Billary is hankering for another bite at the apple and the redemption he thinks it will bring, but finds his volcanic temper beginning to leak lava just like an incontinent old wearer of Depends...!
Like a dead scorpion, the poison in his stinger can still inflict pain and career-death on unwary reporters, but Clinton Inc. may be reeling and against the ropes.
I for one want to see a young Obama knock this pair of dissembling dysfunctional libtards exit left ASAP.

I second that emotion. Bill Clinton is like Madonna. He just won't go away.

Bill is quoted in a Washington Post piece about his talking to young people in Nevada that he and Hillary were treated mean by the Republicans and they left office pooer than when they went it.
Down south we call that POOR MOUTHING. A very bad trait.
Bill really is an Arkansas hick. And a poor mouthing hick at that. It is all talk. Nothing but talk talk talk. Fulbright had to tell him to shut up and drive the car when he was Fulbright's drive long ago. And one of the Clinton team is also reported to have said he would not be doing it this time if it were Bill. He is doing it for Hillary. He said he supported the Clinton Presidency but never liked Bill. Now there is someone who can see through bull. Or Bill.
