Memo To Rudy Giuliani

I don't yet have a major problem with Rudy Giuliani. He's probably my second choice behind Romney for now. But this below simply isn't going to fly. If you want a Reagan conservative's vote, you might want to start by not pissing them off. Be who you are and let the chips fall where they may. But this sort of posturing from Rudy's camp will do him no good.

Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum, Giuliani's state chair, added the final touch in an introduction as music swelled.

"The true Reagan conservative in this race," he said, "is Rudy Giuliani."
