Hey Ahnold - Try, Again! LMAO

So, Arnold Schwarzenegger endorsed John McCain. Just two problems with that - one minor, one a major Oops!

The minor point is about a twenty percent drop in his still decent approval rating, according to a survey dated January 23. He had been up over 60%. But the real laugher?

The Terminator failed to pass much needed health care reform. Um, which guy running for President actually did? Maybe it's a short man thing Arnie and John have going there. After all, Arnold came up short, when Romney didn't.

Next to Massachusetts, only California has come so close to resolving this vexing issue. Schwarzenegger has said he will try again.

Yes, try, again, Arnold. When your state's revenues aren't in decline, the voters don't reject the needed mandates and you get the tax increases required for your plan. Unfortunately, we won't get to vote on the spending McCain might have in mind as president.

Members of the Senate Health Committee rightly recognized California's $14 billion budget deficit and a national economic slump - including the state's deepening home mortgage foreclosure crisis - have changed the dynamic.

The bill was defeated 7-1 in committee after Chairwoman Sheila Kuehl, D-Santa Monica, conducted an 11-hour hearing last week.

It would have been funded by combining fees from employers, employees and hospitals with a $1.75-a-pack tax on cigarettes.

The state's voters would have been required to approve some of those spending measures.

the individual mandate that required all citizens of Massachusetts to purchase health insurance is not conservative - it's socialist.

Reagan's oldest son Michael says John McCain hates him and the feeling is mutual. McCain must not be the guy to carry on Reagan's legacy. I love the fact that this announcement comes after a debate in which McCain said Reagan would approve of him. I also love the fact that McCain has tried to paint himself as a "foot soldier in the Reagan revolution". ROFL Reagan's heirs don't think so. Not so fast Mr. McCain.

So sorry Triska, Reagan's beloved wife, Nancy Reagan, endorses John McCain for President 2008.
