Interesting. A new Fox poll has McCain up in South Carolina at 25, to 18 for Huckabee, 17 for Mitt. pdf here.
Republican presidential hopeful John McCain takes the lead in South Carolina with Mike Huckabee and Mitt Romney close behind, according to a FOX News poll
On page four you'll find the breakdown for the White Evangelical vote. Twenty-three for Huckabee, 22 for McCain and 16 for Mitt with 19% undecided. It looks like Huck's support among Evangelicals is not monolithic. I wonder how many of them listen to Rush?

Hmmm, All those retirees around the old Myrtle Beach AFB and the old Navy base in Charleston. Ft Jackson, Beaufort MCAS, Charleston AFB, Shaw AFB and Fort Stewart/Hunter Field right across the Savannah. Can't imagine why so many veterans would have an impact on these polls.
