Differences

Romney versus McCain Do people really want a vote for Huckabee, of all people, to end the Reagan era of Republicanism? Because, that, and nothing else, would be the result. Without Huckabee, Romney toasts McCain.

Huckles is the last of Johnny Mac's stalking horses, methinks.

"Without Huckabee, Romney toasts McCain."

...you're saying that the evangelicals would vote for a Mormon?

Put the crack pipe down, Dan...

"the crack pipe"

Try reading some poll internals or exit polls sometime - they already are - in numbers close to Huckabee. Hard to get away with ignorance around here, scar.

"Evangelicals", Christians, and particularly those of us fundamentalists and more Bible-centric believers (those of us who don't get caught up in the riptides of the emotion-driven, "rock concert" form of "christianity" or worse, the Ken Hagin/Benny Hinn type prosperity gospel heresy) tend to see through Rev. Huckster's thin veneer rather well.

That's why most folks in our church were supportive of Sen. Thompson's run, and many now support Mitt.

However, more people need to be woken up. Mitt is in danger of getting deprived of votes going toward McCain's wannabe VP.
