Natalee Holloway Case Officially Closed

Unfortunately, this doesn't come as much of a surprise. I figured they were giving it one last go for a public relations move.

ORANJESTAD, Aruba (AP) — Authorities have closed the investigation into the disappearance of Natalee Holloway and do not have evidence to charge anyone, the prosecutors' office said Tuesday.

The three young men who were last seen with the Alabama teenager have all been notified that they will not be charged, the Public Prosecutor's Office said.

"The public prosecutor's office and the police have gone the extra mile and have exhausted all their powers and techniques in order to solve the mystery of the disappearance of the girl," it said.

The three suspects — a Dutch college student and two Surinamese brothers — were seen leaving a bar with Holloway the night she disappeared in May 2005. Police re-arrested them last month in a last-ditch effort to solve the case, but prosecutors said the men did not provide any new information under interrogation.

NO Chloe.....trying to verify, but under aruban/dutch law, and the advent of new evidence...there are 6yrs re: involuntary manslaughter to press charges against the suspects, also re: murder in the first...12yrs! I do agree it is so very sad.....i won't give up hope....so start singing again! I will! I have to say what a prolonged torture for the family, and again, may Natalee rest in peace...just my opinion...

BTW: technically due to aruban law i mentioned, it ain't over, and a number of news organizations reported that re: according to the law, THE CASE IS NOT CLOSED! the more people involved, the more the chance of someone running their mouth....and finally PVDS had a well connected hand in all the delays....JMO!

You seem to be positive, here.

But unfortunately for you, the case is officially closed.

Now, it is probably necessary for you [and others] to understand what this means. It does **not** mean that if some itinerant fisherman comes forward two years from now and says "I killed her and buried her on the beach in Venezuela" that the Arubans will say, "Oh, sorry, the case is closed ... we no longer care".

The case being "closed" simply means that they will not devote any more investigative resources to the matter. If something falls into their laps within the times allowed under their stature of limitations, they will reopen the case.

...where "reopen" means "devote investigative resources to the matter".

Now once again, I will have to caution that people who want "justice to be served" have an unfortunate tendency to mistake "justice" for "lynch mobbery". Many, many people are not interested in having the **right** answer found, here, because the **right** answer may be as prosaic as her having drowned on her own and washing out to whatever mangrove tangle was closest and having caimans picking her apart. They are more interested in having a murder being done so that they can justify their knee-jerk desire to lynch three Aruban boys who had -- as far as any of us knows -- **simply** the [mis]fortune of being the last ones known to see her alive.

Murder is a **possibility**, but there's little known evidence that points at it. People disappear all the time without being murdered, and sometimes because they themselves did stupid things.

But of course, when it's a pretty white girl ... anything tragic *must* be someone else's fault... Right?

1] You are profering a theory and the intellectual/rhetorical rule [not to mention the legal reality] is that you have the burder of proof. All a critic needs to do is poke holes in it.

2] I do not start out making "cruel comments"; I start out making criticism. Adams County District Attorney Don Quick recommended that Tim Masters, now 36, be freed pending a new trial.

Masters was convicted and sentenced in 1999 to life in prison for the slaying of Peggy Hettrick 12 years earlier. But Quick said DNA evidence found on Hettrick's clothing matched another man, casting further doubt on a case already under a microscope.

The new evidence surfaced after the Colorado Bureau of Investigation conducted new tests on DNA found on Hettrick's clothing, finding partial profiles that did not match Masters.

Masters' defense team pursued further testing with a laboratory in the Netherlands that ultimately provided a match with another man who had once been considered a suspect.

The CBI laboratory reviewed the Dutch lab's findings and "confirmed the results consistent with the alternate suspect and inconsistent with Tim Masters," Quick said.

I have been to Aruba several times, and I have always contended that if Natalee was not in those awful caves, she must have been dumped in the ocean. Joran has said a friend dumped her in the ocean - why haven't they interrogated Steve Croes again, who had a boat? He was so arrogant to Greta Van Sustern.

listen folks, i studied this case from the inside out! a whole year documenting and emailing everyone involved and the world. every single day i recorded the lies and contradiccions that 'that lying swine bett twitty' would ejaculate from her snout to nancy (DIS)grace!
first of all joran v/d sloot is 'innocent'! why? because there is PROOF that natalee called her boyfriend in ALABAMA around 4 in the morning from aruba. (way after joran left her on the beach!) he was asleep so his answering machine recorded her saying that she did not want to return home, that she was depressed about having to return! and she kept rambling on and clearly a little out of it, also there was loud music in the back ground! this was told to me by the mother of joran, and that is why they had to realease him!! it took so long because the fbi had confiscated the tape and had it analized!

that call was made from the 'rented' phone she from digicell a local phone company! when they traced the call it resulted to the answering machine of her boyfriend! now.. how did the phone result back in her room the same morning, for her room mates to hand over to the chapparone that stayed back to see about her whereabouts??? rarara?? could that be perhaps before or after she took her room key at the front desk??? well accompanied??

moreover, peter de vries told in an interview on a local station in aruba that his investigative team has 'a seccion of surveillance tape' from the holiday inn, where natalee is clearly seen in the lobby at the front desk, where she went to pick-up her room key! she was accompanied by a man but the tape does not give a clear view of that man! also hours after joran left her on the beach! so peter de vries is a lier and a manipulator too!
'cause if you have proof, and you declare the truth on the air, and afterwards FOR THE LOVE OF MONEY OR VENGENCE, you turn around and betray a whole community...then your just the same old bastard as bette twitty is a bitch!

furthermore, the first day 24 hours she was on the island, she sent a signal to natalee that i'm here #@#@#??? we have to talk!!??
well she came like the angel of darkness convinced her daughter was DEAD, and now..we have to talk??

PART TWO: THE MYSTERY UNFOLDS!
After he said he pleaded with her and even lifted her up to take her back, she struggled with him to put her down. seeing there was no means in hell he could convince her to return, remembering his father knew nothing of his whereabouts, (he was prohibited from going out that night!) and remembering he had to take a final exam the same morning he left the beach and natalee, on foot homeward bound. the two had wondered many meters from where they made out (not having intercourse)so his sandals stayed on the beach! having strong boose, a very erotic night, and worries about his father scolding him could have made him walk home barefoot. especially if he had to walk a great way back. the fact that the sandals were never found is that they could have been stolen that very same morning! people that walk the beach and find meaningful stuff, always steal and take stuff even if they know you went off swimming yards away! i lost a pair of brand new pair of fila sandals exactly that way! perhaps the person that stole them or took them never even heard of the story that unfolded afterward. could be a beach bum too. so there is a plausible explanation there!

from the beach to his home is a give or take 20 min. reaching home he text messaged the calpoe brothers informing them that he was home already.

NOW..at 7.30am that same morning the group of 124 students and chaparones were getting ready to check-out from the hotel! the busses were loading them so by 8 o'clock, natalee's room mate(s) brought down her luggage, packed, her cell phone, and passport. they gave them to the chaparone (female) and told her that natalee was not in the room so they brought her luggage down. they thinking she had already woken and got dressed and left the room for an early breakfast or so and left her bags packed so they brought them down for her. the chaparone thought the same, and stayed back waiting for her to board the bus! when all the whole group left and natalee did not yet arrive, she went looking for her in the dining room thinking she was slow leaving the breakfast table!

THEN..she asked the frontdesk to call the police because she has a missing student. she waited in the lobby, with natalee's luggage, and other belongings. and arranged with the other chaparones that she would stay back to wait for natalee and would join them as soon as she appeared at the airport to take the flight that was scheduled to leave at 1 or 2 pm.

THEN..and agent from the 'beach patrol team' arrived and the hotel and asked what was going on! it was about 9 am. in the meantime she called bette twitty on the same cell phone that was left behind by natalee, and informed her that natalee did not leave with the group to the airport, and that she was getting worried but remained hopeful that she would show up and make the flight out! beth immmediately made full drama that she is either abducted or murdered and told the chaparone she would be there in aruba the same evening!
MEANWHILE..the beach patrol agent only made a photo copy of the passport and made notes of what the chaparone knew!

BIG MISTAKE!! HE SHOULD HAVE CONFISCATED ALL HER BELONGINGS AND SEALED THE ROOM SO NO ONE COULD ENTER IT, SINCE IT HAS BEEN CHECK-OUT OF!!! IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN HANDLLED AS A CRIME SEEN FROM THE GET-GO!
ALSO..THE REASON IT TOOK SOOO LONG FOR THE POLICE TO ACT IS THE FACT THAT THE WHOLE POLICE FORCE WAS "ON STRIKE" THAT VERY SAME MORNING!

when the other chaparones called from the airport the one in the hotel, she asked to speak to the friends of natalee that had seen her last, and they told her she was last seen with a guy called joran, a dutch boy, but did'nt know his last name. they told her they had left CCharlies together.
so she had a name and discription to go on, and started asking around the taxi drivers and hotel personell if they knew joran, so little by little she found out his full name, where he lived etc.

IN THE MEANWHILE..bette twitty was weaving her web of deception and drama together, inviting 'HER BANDA LOCA' she came with and the american press, and the fbi! the fbi being persuaded by who knows what lies they were told, had an agent on aruba from the drug inforsement agency, and they asked him to go by the hotel to assist the chaparone and take all information etc. he did that and arrived about 3 or 4 pm. natalee was still missing and the flight had left and the chaparone stayed back! still with her luggage and belongings in the lobby! having no authority to act he left also without becoming the wiser.

I was watching a show tonight about Natalee Holloway and something came to me. I dont know why but when ever I lose something or cant find something I pray to Saint Anthony. He is never known to fail. Unless the itme can and never will be found. It might not be found immediately but if it can be found it will be found.'

When i was little and i lost anything, i would pray to saint anthony too, and as if a miracle occured i would soon find it! i would say please st. anthony something i lost that is very dear to me, please help me find it! and i would repeat it untill i found what i was looking for sometimes after minutes of searching! after that i would be happy and thank him and heaven for helping me find it.

i guess it all has to do with faith, the way you were brought up. i would always lose jewelry, toys, or any little thing that i played with! even when i became an adult i would beg him to help me find stuff, and he never failed!

after many years i accepted our lord and saviour, and now i ask the lord jesus for everything i need, want, or lose, and if it is his will he ussually complies! now i myself am not lost any more! thank you lord jesus!
