Mitt Takes A Real Hit

The Romney issue around the literally/figuratively, someone marched with MLK deal just got a whole lot worse for Mitt - via Andrew Sullivan to the Boston Globe.

Mitt Romney went a step further in a 1978 interview with the Boston Herald. Talking about the Mormon Church and racial discrimination, he said: "My father and I marched with Martin Luther King Jr. through the streets of Detroit."

Yesterday, Romney spokesman Eric Fehrnstrom acknowledged that was not true. "Mitt Romney did not march with Martin Luther King," he said in an e-mail statement to the Globe.

Willard has also been a hunter pretty much all his life. I hear next week he will talk about he was the first Mormon to fly on the Space Shuttle. Willard has lots of good stories.

Well...well...even a blind hog finds an acorn every once in a while. Bingo, Spartan, Willard routinely plays that game, and has gotten away with it over the years. But not any more, even if Repubs are willing to forgive his lies, conservatives and liberals aren't going to let it happen. His record, his lies and his flip-flops are all going to be issues in this election.
