h/t Michelle for this Examiner item on a savage beating of a woman in Baltimore - 9 against 1. Taking a look at the Baltimore Sun's website, one commenter is claiming her comment as to people being able to defend themselves was deleted. See below.

She was “immediately attacked” by nine students — three females and six males — from Robert Poole Middle School. They punched and kicked her at 2:59 p.m. at the intersection of 33rd Street and Chestnut Avenue, according to Maryland Transit Administration police.

Right now, in Baltimore only the criminals (and kids) have guns...and its like the wild wild west.

If skinny little white girls, like me (and possibly Sarah Kreager) started carrying guns, the power balance would suddenly become more even.

According to NRA/ILA, Maryland is a "may-issue" (i.e. restrictive) state. Folks in state government there must believe that order is better maintained through the guarantee of a disarmed victim class than free people defending themselves against marauding hoodlums such as these. Indeed, if whites are still a majority (or more likely, a plurality) and a major race war/civil war develops after the fashion of a KosKidz-desired meltdown of America... the rounds of ethnic cleansing that follow will make the Serbo-Bosnian wars look like a walk in the park.

I have seen several of these over the past two years. Always 5-6 young black males jumping unsuspected victims. Both times I have managed to chase off the criminals. The first time was right outside my house and an aluminum baseball bat can be a very effective deterrent but I would not recommend it (it was what was available in the short time). The other time it was 5 young males 17-18 years old (they sure as hell weren't children nor were they men) jumped an unsuspecting kid on a bike. I was driving down the street when it happened right in front of me from around a block away. They knocked the kid off the bike and were kicking and swinging at him while he tried to flee. By the time I got there he was balled up into a fetal position while they kicked him. I basically drove over the top of him in my pick up to shield him from the kicks. He crawled under my truck and out one side and escaped down the street while the little punks turned there attention on me. They circled the truck and started kicking the truck, one even tried to hit me through the driver's window..I had already put the truck in reverse, so I ducked and released the clutch and popped the truck backward....then the little bastard realized he was in front of a four wheel drive pick up and a very pissed off middle aged white man. He ran for about a half a block with me pushing him with my bumper until he escaped onto the sidewalk....I really shouldn't have driven down the sidewalk after his sorry ass, but it was too much fun. Boy was he surprised when I came over that curb after his butt. He finally escpaped into someones back yard. To tell the truth the other punks were laughing their ass off as he was running....at the same time stealing the kids bike....Ah life in historic Jacksonville, Florida.

Meh. Nothing a few shotshells loaded with rock salt, or perhaps a good public 50 lashes with a horsewhip couldn't fix.

Unfortunately, a lot of those coloured teenagers (and a good many white boys as well these days) never had daddies around to beat some sense into them when they went wrong.

Instead, they have plenty of electronic babysitting with MTV, gangsta rap and its antisocial thuggishness, and video games with life-like violence like Grand Theft Auto to teach them how to be "men".
