Was it her walk down memory lane? The fact that Romney got so much press mileage out of it? Or Drudge running what I think is an unnecessary picture of Hillary on his site for two days? Few older adults look their best standing out in the cold for an extended time. Anyway, Hillary's going for the spigot effect on the stump. She's pulling out all the stops. What's next? A Barbara Walters interview?
Flanked by childhood friends and constituents who each offered testimonials on the Democratic presidential candidate, a glassy-eyed Clinton spoke noticeably softer than most past appearances on the stump.
"It is very exciting for me to have so many of my friends from my entire life who have come out here, to talk with Iowans, to answer questions, to give you some insight and information about our relationships, about what I've been trying to do my entire life, and particularly as an adult," Clinton said at a campaign event in Johnston, Iowa Monday.

Who's that in the crowd? The White House Travel Office employees? Oh no. It's only those with whom she wanted to replace those employees. She wanted to reward her good friends with good White House jobs. Boo hoo, such good friends. Don't her friends have jobs that require their presence?

Oh crickey! Where are my hip waders and a big shovel when I really need them? The consummate liar and two-faced phony speaks and we're all supposed to melt? Cry me a river Hillary and you might get an Oscar, but you'll never, ever see the inside of the Oval Office again.

ha ha, Fred.
I have to say I think everyone making a big deal out of that picture of Hillary is pretty much a loser. I can't think of anything more grueling than campaigning, and it just seemed low to me that bloggers and others in the media glommed onto it. Petty is the right word.
