Democrat Debate In Iowa
3:24 All in all, a lack luster debate conducted by a moderator so in over her head, it's embarrassing to watch.
3:09 Obama coup - by speaking up for Biden on a question regarding his gaffes concerning race. None of them have the courage to say enough already, we're over-sensitive. But Obama made points for character by speaking up for Biden - well played.
2:50 I doubt this will be a narrative changing debate - but one thing is clear meter-wise - in general people like Edwards and Obama much more than Hillary. She really isn't very good at getting positive feelings from people when she speaks.
2:36 If Obama were better, he could win the nomination. His delivery is stilted at times and it hurts him. Debates don't appear to be his thing. I'm surprised. Apparently he isn't 100% comfortable without a script.
2:24 PM Hillary looks tired and a little worn out. Hmm.
Update: She did much better on the follow - still not as high as O and Edwards.
Watching that Luntz meter thingie - Obama big, Edwards, too on the first question - the economy. Hillary was far lower, went up briefly at end was all. Interesting, this may be an Obama friendly crowd.
I'll be looking in and update if anything significant develops. The Campaign Spot is usually a good place to look during debates.

Incidentally, I was in that focus group. It was organized by Luntz and filmed in NEW YORK CITY, NOT in Iowa. Fox News misrepresented us (i.e. LIED) and Luntz allowed it to happen.
