She may be many things, but Hillary Clinton isn't dumb. Her attack on Obama's character was tasteless and petty, but it may also have been just a weekend fling. Obama has responded with a new website. It makes him look weak.
Naturally, everyone is piling on Hillary. But might that not be just what she wants?
Obviously, I could be wrong. Maybe with Hillary in charge, Clinton, Inc. has lost it's political sense and Hillary will continue a mud slinging fest that could doom her in the General, assuming it doesn't cost her the primary. However, if she pivots away from her weekend rhetoric and attacks Obama mostly on policy, while Obama ratchets up the negative attacks to meet what he thinks is coming, in a week she'll have him right where she wants him - playing the victim and looking weak, as well as mean - while also attacking. That puts him all over the map.
The Clintons like subterfuge, not direct attack. And they've always benefited from playing the victim.
Come on in, said the spider to the fly ... given what we know of them, ask yourself, who's the spider and who's the fly when it comes down to Obama and Hillary? Stay tuned, we may be about to find out.

"The Clintons like subterfuge, not direct attack. And they've always benefited from playing the victim."
When you try to pillar someone often enough, it almost becomes a learned response, eh? I do appreciate how you manage to keep a closer watch on the Democratic Primary than the Republican one. It's almost as though you don't care who wins the Republican Nomination so long as he can "beat the bitch".

Yes, what of the divine intervention that has allowed Mike Huckleberry to 'surge' to the lead? Clearly, the Lord favors him over the pagan and the cross-dresser.

The Lord's will be done, through the will of the people.
If Huckabee gets the nod and then goes on to win the general election, he will be God's man to sit in the Oval Office.

"When you try to pillar someone often enough, it almost becomes a learned response, eh?' writes Moe.
"...try to pillar..." Eh? Eh?
And again, "...it almost becomes a learned response, eh?" "...a learned response..." Eh? Eh? Eh?
What can this jackass be babbling about?

seekeronos, does that mean that if Hillary wins, she's God's girl to sit in the Oval Office?

Here's how she should have phrased the quote, "As a mother, it was just a horrible sense of bewilderment, confusion, outrage, frustration, anger, everything at the same time when I learned that Senator Obama had lied about his kindergarten record."
