Oh man. If he isn't appointed Secretary of something, or other - I don't imagine anyone wants him being asked to sit on Cabinet meetings. Hillary's lead in South Carolina is now gone. This won't help. Forget what people think of the Clintons in particular, I don't think people are really that comfortable with a husband and a wife who could both claim the title of President.
If his wife wins the 2008 presidential election, would the former president sit in on cabinet meetings?
Bill Clinton Talks to Barbara Walters"Only if asked," Clinton told Walters. "And I think it would only be wise if it were on a specific issue. I think it's better for me to give her my advice privately most of the time."

"I think it's better for me to give her my advice privately most of the time." Oh what self-effacing modesty and humility. I think it would make great theater if the meetings and advice-giving were to be televised internationally. Sort of like an Anna Nichole Smith/Jed Clampitt Show. What about it Moe?

I thought Bill's answer was interesting because he didn't sit in on his own Cabinet meetings when he was "the" President.
