I suppose I shouldn't be surprised that everyone's talking about the Robertson endorsement of Rudy today. All things considered, I can't help but think this is Robertson striving to keep himself politically relevant more than it is a glowing endorsement of Rudy.
I'm not an evangelical Christian and have never cared much about who Robertson endorses. If anything, I'd rather see him out of politics than at the side of a perspective Republican nominee. And while I realize Rudy needed the help with the Christian Right, Robertson abandoned his principles to support Rudy. That's a fact and not surprising to me. The surprise could be that this hurts Rudy more with Independents than he might think.

Pat Robertson has never represented more than a hand full of Evangelicals.
He speaks for the Evangelical fringe, who are a small group of Robertson lap dogs.
He is a shameless sham who seems to be pixilated and ego centric.
He is and has been an embarrassment to real Evangelicals for years.
The MSM races to cover anything he says because it gives them a chance to
belittle and skewer Christianity.
The fact that he would endorse Giuliani reveals more about the shallowness of Pat
Robertson than it does the desperation and hypocrisy of Giuliani who would accept his endorsement.

Speaking as a socially conservative Christian...
Pat Robertson doesn't speak for me. That guy is ... to put it politely, not very in touch with reality, and he is every bit as dangerous as some of the leftist CodePinkos and SorosBots and other deluded denizens of dKosLand.
And I am firmly convinced that the liberal leaning Guliani is not at all concerned about the "endorsement" or a lack thereof, except that it just might cause a few anti-christians or Jeffersonian independents to hold their nose for Hillary at the polls.
Watch for a tussle amongst the political wannabe kingmakers (like James Dobson or Chuck Swindoll) over this.
A better endorsement, if one could be had from them, would be from some of the old time fundamental preachers who write for the Sword of the Lord (link) http://www.swordofthelord.com/

Fred, LOL has wet his panties, and is off to Arianna for further instructions. The fact that his kind can't find any bad news from Iraq has them all close to a nervous breakdown. Haha!

Ah yes, Jesus freaks for abortionists and cross dressers. Praise the Lord and GW Bush!
Surge on patriots, Iraq will one day be yours!!!

Looks like Iraq is ours already, dumb ass. You need to get out more, boob, the news out of Iraq is all good. I saw a photo today of Muslims and Christians putting a cross back on a church, working together for the good of Iraq, and thanking the US for its help. Oh, my, that's going to cause a whinefest on the Left, it sure is. Haha!

I think you mean "prospective" nominee.

That sounds like one mighty inspiring photo you saw, patriot. Makes you want to bbq some fatty meat i bet.

Nah, boob, just makes me want to gloat over your sorry ass. And yes, that was quite an inspiring photo, something you would know nothing about. And thanks for joining the Lefty whinefest. You never disappoint.

In other news, Benny Hinn has endorsed Fred Thompson. Benny thinks that frauds should stick together.

Score one for Bob on Benny Hinn... that dude is nothing short of a con artist.
But sadly, you lost it on trying to tie him to the Fred!

Boob is no fan of Benny Hinn. He is a fan of Benny Hill and Henny Youngman.
