What Is Possible For Women In Our Times?
I'm at a loss. Babs, who supported the last two losing Presidential candidates, is supporting Hillary. But think about this:
Hillary Clinton has already proven to a generation of women that there are no limits for success. ... Hillary has transcended the dictates of what is thought to be possible for our time.
Quick, besides marrying a future president, what is it that Hillary has accomplished that hasn't been accomplished by any number of women over two decades? In some ways, she has accomplished much less than many.

The NY Sun has been doing articles on Hillary. The Sun is free online now.

She has accomplished being the person most hated (and feared) by bleary eyed republicans. That's something.

And you have accomplished making the dumbest statement of the day, Spartan. That's something, too, but not much of something.

Had to give W a break for the day.

"what is it that Hillary has accomplished that hasn't been accomplished by any number of women over two decades?"
Impeached, her husband was.

"what is it that Hillary has accomplished that hasn't been accomplished by any number of women over two decades?"
She's the odds-on favorite to be the first woman ever nominated for President by a major political party and may well be elected by this time next year. You think that's easy? I mean, I've got not one shred of admiration for her, but let's be Riehl here.

And, Babs, Hill can't sing worth a s--- either.
"She has accomplished being the person most hated (and feared) by bleary eyed
republicans."
Now this is the thinking of an ass hat, Dan. "Vote for Hillery because she strikes fear and evokes hatred in about half the bleary-eyed country." Shades of McGovern (or misgovern).

Exactly, Fred, cause hell, we don't need a President capable of bringing the country together and actually solving some of the major problems we have. Hell, no, we'll show the bastards, we'll elect Hillary. She's only hated by 49% of the population. She's bound to get results.

I sometimes get the feeling, Temp, that 49% of her own party is going to deny her the candidacy. I will have mixed feelings if that happens.

I reckon that many Dems will be holding their noses to vote Hillary come November '08.
