Uh, Bruce Who?

via Glenn Reynolds ... Extreme Mortman scolds Obama for his SNL bit and points out Nearly twenty years ago today Bruce Babbitt had one of the best cameo appearances ever by a politician/presidential candidate. Actually I think sensibilities may have changed, the dynamics, especially around Clinton, are different and going after her fairly mildly on SNL won't hurt him at all. It's probably easier there than on the stump. I mean, she is allowed to be challenged, right? But as for Babbitt ... he lost in the primary to Dukakis. That alone makes it hard to believe he did anything right at all.

Damn, already dead. NBC is one of the most vigilant entities about keeping their stuff off of YouTube. I think it hurts them, actually. I never even think about SNL, let alone watch it. What would it hurt for them to allow this kind of free advertising?
