U of Del Quote Was From La Raza?

h/t Instapundit for pointing out that the University Of Delware is putting its ideological reeducation program on hold. But research into one of the more shocking quotes suggests an interesting origin going back at least a decade and certainly not beginning with the current flap.

Late Thursday, University of Delaware President Patrick Harker released on the school’s website a Message to the University of Delaware Community terminating the university’s ideological reeducation program....

The quote, in bold below, appears to have roots as far back as 1975 and this at least seems to be from 1995, you'll need to scroll, or see below for the exact quote, though even they may have lifted it from somewhere else - excerpts below. It can also be found here at "real definitions." In 1995, the Tides Center seems to have incorporated it into a class on Prisoner Activism. That more complete definiton added at bottom.

Voz Fronteriza is one of several irredentist, anti-white publications supported by California taxpayers. On its masthead, it calls itself “a quarterly Chicano Mexicano student publication founded in 1975 … recognized as an official campus print media [sic] by the Associated Student Media Board of U.C. San Diego.”

The anticipated “gathering” is the Republican National Convention. The article goes on to explain that “the right-wing plans of GOP pigs such as [Pete] Wilson, Gingrich, Helms, Buchannon [sic], etc. are genocidal, pure and simple.” [Voz Fronteriza, May 1995, p. 10.]

Likewise, “A racist is one who is both privileged and socialized on the basis of race by a white supremacist (racist) system. The term applies to all white people (i.e., people of European descent) living in the United States …” Naturally, “people of color cannot be racists.”

I *AM* talking about the teachings of Jesus Christ. He taught about God's coming judgment, and quite a bit about fiery hell, and how to escape it. You seem to be missing it.
