Thompson Scores
According to The Politico, Fred Thompson is going to score a key Right-to-Life endorsement tomorrow. The back story is that the anti-abortion movement in America is looking so fragmented, it might not have the viability of an un-married feminist's early term pregnancy a block away from a Planned Parenthood Clinic.
Fred Thompson will pick up the support of the National Right to Life Committee (NRLC) tomorrow, according to two Republicans familar with the decision.
For a candidate who came up empty-handed last week when three prominent Christian conservatives endorsed GOP hopefuls and is falling in both national and early state polls, the move comes at a critical time.

Oh. I figured, from the headline, that Levitra was involved. Well, good for you Fred!

chris/Boob was intended to be an aborted fetus, but right-to-life laws saved him so he could be a silly, gay Leftist who would be instrumental in the loss of any goodwill liberals ever had. Thank you for your service, chris/Boob.
Simper fey.

Kind of odd, though. There are other pro-life candidates besides Thompson, and Thompson has stated that he is against a Constitutional amendment banning abortion.

As are most conservatives, blonde. I've never understood this no-abortion-for-any-reason mentality that infects some of these folks. Most people I know would allow abortion in the case of rape, incest, or for the mother's life.

tk,
Yes, I agree. I'm just surprised that the NRLC is throwing their weight behind someone who doesn't really support the "no-abortion-for-any-reason mentality" as you put it, rather than (for example) someone like Huckabee.

Speaking of scoring, this troop-supporting family VALUES patriot might have some spaining to do

I call on the HONORABLE senator to complete his mission, whatever that may be.
God Bless!
