Apparently someone is trying to give Mitt Romney some heat over a decision to not participate in a specific debate, though it's unclear if Rudy had agreed to participate, either. But wait a minute:
In it, Romney counsel and adviser Ben Ginsberg notes that they have already taken part in three Fox debates and that there are "a plethora of other debates in Iowa."
The Republicans took part in an ABC debate in Des Moines in August and will almost certainly participate in a Des Moines Register/Iowa Public Televison forum leading up to the caucuses.
Come on, Iowa ... give it a rest. Iowa appears to have less than one percent of the nation's population, they're getting two debates and there have already been, some would say, too many national debates on TV. Don't the good people of Iowa have anything better to do?
