Republicans: The Nutroots Best Friend?
What a wonderful bit of inside politics this turned out to be. The Netroots were calling Democrats traitors for betraying them with their decision to table Kucinich's impeachment resolution. Dems Ensure Motion To Impeach Cheney Goes Nowhere
Not so fast - via The Weekly Standard and Michelle Malkin live blogging it - the Republicans have come to the Netroots rescue by supporting the effort. I guess they didn't want to deprive America of seeing just how nutty the Netroots are. heh! Is it fair to make your competition bring their crazy Aunt down out of the attic? Well, it's politics, so I guess it and everything else is, too.

Um... to quote El Presidente, bring it on. Does the Republican side of the aisle really want to egg on the impeaching of Dick Cheney? And did you ever wonder why the vote was kept open for so long? 170-242? That's some interesting voting percentages there.
Maybe Pubs are hedging their bets for '08, when they'll be running for their political lives with the Least Popular President In Recorded History and his even less popular VP running behind him.

That's true, President Bush DOES have low poll percentage numbers...but they ain't as low as our 11% Congress..........

Dream on.
the staff of Republican Whip Roy Blunt E-mails:
Republicans voted to force the Democrats to debate the Kucinich resolution to impeach Vice President Cheney.
This will allow us one hour of debate on the resolution.
We want to shed light on this Majority for the American people so they can see the political nonsense we are witnessing in Washington.
House Democrats are wasting precious time to play political games instead of working for the American people.
Now go take a bath.

That's the same thing I say to people who wish Mike Moore and Rosie O'Donnell would shut up.
I say, let them talk. Give the KosKidz and DUmmies plenty of air-time and publicity.
I guessed at the time that F911 would probably pull in more votes for Bush than it garnered for Kerry.
When America sees how nuts the Dems are, they usually reject them. They need a lying used car salesman like Bill to sell their party to the country. As long as they are exposed for the leftists they are, we're all safe.

The demorats finally accomplished something in congress. The house overrode the presidents veto of a pork bill and will spend 7 Billion + (that is with a B) more than the amount either the house or senate approved, all pork added in conference and divided among themselves. Wow, they'll get a lot of political contributions (blackmail) out of that move.

yeehaw, i'm so thrilled at spending $122,000,000 for beach replenishment in northern New Jersey.

$122,000,000?
I wonder how much that amounts to in upgrading tanks or buying body armour...
or just as helpful, I wonder how much difference $7Bn would have made for redeeming a workable retirement pension account program out of the Social Security Ponzi Scheme?

$500 BILLION for failed wars and the mouthbreathers are sweating $7B. 24% suits you.

"$500 BILLION for failed wars."
What war has the US spent 500Bn on that failed?
Oooops, sorry. I know the answer. "Wehategeorgebushandblamehimforeverthingsince1948"

No WMDs, no bin Laden. $100 crude. You lose, redneck.

"No WMDs, no bin Laden. $100 crude. You lose, redneck."
And no bombs going off in the USA. And real connections between US intelligence efforts to combat terror in New Jersey, and military actions in Iraq. (As reported in the Bergen Record). Binnie's probably been pushing up daisies for years, and the low dollar, while driving up the price of oil, has also been bitch slapping China, which holds lots of US dollar denominated securities, and re-vitalizing the US manufacturing sector. And no WMD's: And more importantly, no Saddam to authorize their production.
All in all, I'll stick with the redneck. I can really get into that "no bombings in the USA" thing. Another crisp autumn day... and nothing blows up. Cool.

You guys are priceless. 'Afeared' of 'terrurr', Bin Laden is dead for 'years' and the Chinese are being 'bitch slapped'.
Your stuttering leader salutes you.

"No WMDs, no bin Laden. $100 crude. You lose, redneck."
Again, all you can spout is the party line, no REAL reasons to be against going to Iraq. I'd ask you to describe "WMDs" but I know the answer is BDS. Some were there, others remain "missing" but have turned up as the base for IEDs. I was never concerned about them because I knew they were theater only weapons and like you didn't care if Saddam used them on his own people. UBL could very well be dead, though he looks remarkably well in his flicks. Either way, the centuries old strategy of containment seems to be working. Better Bahgdad than Boston, though I don't really care about Bostonians that much either. Then there is the $97 dollar crude. Incredible considering we did this to keep oil prices down and put money in GWs pocket. Sadly, we have plenty of our own crude and the ability to make Brazil look like truck farmers at alcohol. But our colleges prefer to teach students lefist concepts rather than turn out scientists and engineers.
I had my own, real reasons to avoid Iraq but a failure? No. Not until Hilary brings the troops home and the place looks like Saigon's last days.

"'Afeared' of 'terrurr'"
Afraid? Probably not. Fed up? Certainly.
I'd love to know how old chrissy is, what kind of work he/she does. I'd ask, but the answer would be BDS.

Chrissy is also a victim of the Evil Chimpy McHitlerburtcheneywitz.
We're not sure how, but he is.

seek: Seems the way to run these cats off is to ask them questions. Chrissy likely had to run to her/his prof's office to find out how to respond.

Now..now..quit picking on chrissy, he wet his panties, and is off to change them. Or mayhap he is taking a side trip into some bathroom or another, looking for one of those toe tappers. Haha!
