Huh?

Update 3: Romney camp responds:

“We reject any insinuation that we are behind this.  We have the most interest in getting to the bottom of this situation.”

Update 2: I'm going to go out on a limb here and speculate how this might unravel. Based on what I've posted below, I suspect the contract was outsourced to the Philippines. As noted here, there are likely too many LDS employees for this to fly out of Utah. If that's so, look for some Western Wats Mormon employees to snitch this out.

Update: More here from Soren Dayton. My guess is still a Rudy-related independent group. That doesn't mean Rudy approved it. Most likely, he would be insulated from it by someone wanting to help. Rudy needs Mitt tamped down coming out of the early primaries.

More on the anti-Romney calls from Allah. NRO notes an employee that supports Romney. Duh. It is Utah, correct? Based on research, the firm also outsources much of their calling to the Philippines. This via their own site.

OREM, UT-Western Wats' Cebu, Philippines facility doubled capacity in October bringing the total number of CATI interviewing stations to 500. The center is now 60,000 square feet and is staffed by 900 employees. Expatriate Chris Mangelson, who has more than 10 years of data collection experience, manages the facility.

I'd still look at other connections as noted below. But nothing is going to be conclusive without a formal investigation.
