Updated and Bumped: Hostages At Clinton HQ

Update: 6:15 PM - Man in custody in street, situation seems to be over.

Update: 6:13 pm -- According to Fox, another hostage now being released.

Huh - this is a Mass. Legal preceding mentioning a Leeland Eisenberg in the case of an action against a lawyer: Isaiah Shalom.

31. At all times relevant to the petition for discipline, Leeland Eisenberg was an inmate in the custody of the Massachusetts Department of Corrections and was institutionalized at the DOC facility in Bridgewater (Ans. 35; Stip. 21). Eisenberg is not and was not a lawyer (Stip. 21).

Update: Apparently not all hostages were released. Another just was, that appears to leave one. Suspect is now ID'd as Leeland EisenbergAllah is tracking, as well.

Charged with two counts of stalking in April.

7:51 p.m. --Leeland Eisenberg, 46, of Milton Road, 16, is charged with two counts of stalking.

Update: Hostages released?

Update: Hillary cancels DNC speech, reports claim the hostage taker wants to talk to Hillary.

The circus is in town. I hope this turns out to be a non-dangerous nut. More information here - two hostages, a forty-ish man with salt and pepper hair.

ROCHESTER, N.H. -- An armed man has taken people hostage at the Hillary Clinton campaign office in Rochester, police said.

It was not clear how many hostages there were or what weapons the man has. Police have set up a command post near the office on 28 North Main St.

Would it be overly cynical of me to think that this bomber is a Clinton plant...?

Would it be overly cynical of me to think that this bomber is a RWV poster?

For you--Nope. For the rest of us-Yep :)

If Clinton can't protect her own offices, how can she protect us from the terrorists?!?!

You can tell the political season is upon us. All the nuts will come out of the trees.

I wanna talk to Shrillary and if I don't get to I'm gonna blow myself up...

Well, have at it, but you really should have picked an event where Hillary was actually there...

"--- Well, have at it, but you really should have picked an event where Hillary was actually there... ---"

It certainly would have made for some good security theatre as well as ratcheting up whatever fictional drama that Clinton Inc. might have put him up to.

That being said, I hope that the police and other folks trying to defuse this situation can take down the that terrorist with no casualties... regardless of the PR it will certainly bring to the Hildabeast.

I totally agree, this is more than likely a Clinton plant, to make her look 'presidential'. You wait, her hope to be boyfriend, Chris Mathews and the rest of the MSM will be falling all over themselves to comment how stalworth and strong she appeared during such 'trying times'.

The MSM and the Clintons are doing everything they can to keep Mrs. Clinton off stage.

I also think the writers union (democrat for Mrs. Clinton) strike is also a made up story so that Mrs. Clinton won't have to engage in anymore debates. Maybe Im paranoid on that one, but I never put anything past those two.

A plant? Are you kidding? The guy has a history of mental problems and strapped a bunch of road flares to himself, this is not a plant.

Would it sound stupid if I said I thought this guy was a Romney/Guiliani operative trying to kill the leading Dem? Yes, it would. It would sound stupid and paranoid just like you sound now.

The hostage taker has been identified as Terry Gain. He was heard muttering - 'but we already won' over and over.

Mission Accomplished, Terry!

See, the thing that gets me in all of this is the assumption that people need to be totally bamboozled into voting for HRC. Why is there a bomber in the building? Because she's a super secret Hillary double agent. Why would a super secret Hillary double agent do this? So Hillary gets media hype and publicity (and who can blame her, she was a total no-name before this). How does this stand to benefit Hillary? Because more NH voters will turn out in droves to support the woman who's campaign office was almost road-flared. Or something.

Not because of Hillary's health care plan. Not because of Hillary's Iraq War stance. Not because of Hillary's position on abortion or taxes or gays in the military or the economy or handling natural disasters or US infrastructure or even the fact that she's a woman. People will overwhelmingly vote for HRC because some idiot ran into a building with a "bomb" strapped to his chest.

Just out of curiosity, if McCain's office in South Carolina get TP'd tomorrow, will you guys be more or less likely to vote for him?

Hate radio does its thang. 24/7 Limbaugh and Hannity gives us events like this. Who needs Der Sturmer when you have Clear Channel?

"--- Who needs Der Sturmer when you have Clear Channel? ---"

More like ... who needs _Der_Volkischer_Beobachter_ when you have CNN/MSNBC/ABC/CBS/WaPo/NYT/HuffPo et. al...?

Concerning the terrorist at HRC's HQ - he is probably a completely random individual... but as I said, I wouldn't put it past Clinton Inc. to have found a way to harvest publicity and use it in a way beneficial to their cause.

Because even if her positions are really that great, she will use everything in her arsenal to ensure that she gets seated in the Oval Office on 1.29.08

Point of reference, Bridgewater is the location of the DOC's mental health facility. Of course I guess Hillary could have planted a chip in his brain.

"she will use everything in her arsenal to ensure that she gets seated in the Oval Office on 1.29.08"

Isn't that the goal/mission of every campaign?

"..Not because of Hillary's war stance."

You bums on the Left have neglected to tell some of the details of the latest Democratic war stance, such as Murtha saying, "The Surge is working", and most other Democrats sans you Lefty knotheads looking to change their attitude about the war in Iraq. Even the Lefty media has gone mostly silent on the avalanche of successes in Iraq. I wonder why?

Well here we go again. Does anybody else remember when Old Billy Boy was pres. and it seemed like every other week someone tried to storm the White House with a gun, or just opened fire at it, hell I seem to recall somebody even crashed a small plane into it.
Now I know Bush isn't the most well like person in the world, but he didn't seem to have as many attempts ( not even half assed ones ) like Bill did. I wonder if this is a sign of things to come for Hillary.

Since our liberal friends can't find the OBL and Murtha threads, I sure am eager to hear their thoughts on the latest news from the war front. Old Osama admitted he was the one responsible for the attack at the WTC, that kinda blows you troofers out of the water. And then, your old buddy Murtha admits the surge is working, and you bums go silent.

Sucks to be you Leftys these days. Losers one and all. Bwahahahahaha!

Second take on Islamosucker's trumpeting of HRC's superior positions:

"--- Not because of Hillary's health care plan. ---"

Erm, you mean the "HillaryCare" idea for a mandatory federalized universal single-payer plan, (yay, another cabinet level ministry we really need in our burgeoning and increasingly useless bureaucracy) a.k.a. socialized medicine, a.k.a. that same HillyCare that got knocked down in Congress at least once, if not through multiple incarnations?

"--- Not because of Hillary's Iraq War stance. ---"

Don't look for any miracles here. She'll keep troops in the Persian Gulf for as long as she gains benefit from it, and chances are really good that she just might have a few investments distributed in portfolios that may surprisingly mirror those of Dick Cheney. Furthermore, if she thinks for a microsecond that if she can co-opt a victory out of G.W. Bush's mistakes (real, perceived, or manufactured by the MSM) and grab the glory for having brought peace to the Middle East by keeping the troops in place, then keep them there she will. Moonbats and Code Pinkos, take notice! Your would-be saviour has HER interests in mind first... just like nearly anyone else with means and power tends to.

"--- Not because of Hillary's position on abortion ---"

I don't really see anything noteworthy here. She doesn't care if people kill fetuses, and Roe v. Wade is in no real danger of getting overturned. The more important thing to worry about is her appointing a slate of SCOTUS justices that are far enough to the left to make Ruth Bader-Ginsburg look like a Robert Bork, and effectively adjudicate the Constitution into literal irrelevance. After all, she's all down with forking over American sovereignty to the UN and other international "authorities" that would impose a socialist tyranny down our throats.

"--- or taxes (or the economy) ---"

No surprises here. She'd tax us all into the poorhouse. I spliced economy up here as well, because there won't be much of one left once she finishes the job of outsourcing all of our industrial, technological, and innovative production to the Red Chinese that her hubby and former co-queen Bill started.

"--- or gays in the military ---"

No surprises there either. She'd continue the wretched DADT policy which has wasted atrocious amounts of taxpayer dollars (lost training) and otherwise denied lesbians, gays, and bisexuals folks from serving this nation and dying in the fields of combat along with everyone else. The fix here is to let them serve, so long as they keep their genitalia and their lifestyles off-duty and off-post (i.e. no kissing or schtupping in the barracks or holding leather pride parades in the NCO club facilities - which incidentally, is the SAME rules between hetero men and women).

"--- or handling natural disasters ---"

Ah, yes. FEMA - which received INCREDIBLE amounts of funding throughout Clinton'42, and still was completely useless, bloated, and corrupt... existing only be executive order to deprive people of their firearms and ability to recover using their own resources - forcing them to be reliant on Big Mama Gummint.

"--- or US infrastructure ---"

Gee, what was WJC (Clinton'42) record on fixing the busted bridges during his regime? And not for nothing, but the quality of the roads and bridges (though I complained about the roadworks like any other normal commuter) have improved in my region has improved quite a bit during Bush '43. Narry a drop of repairs during Clinton 42 though.

"--- or even the fact that she's a woman.

Probably irrelevant... but IMHO, I'd prefer a man as POTUS because then you don't have as much estrogen-fueled emotions killing off objectivity when needed in a critical situation. There are exceptions, naturally... QE-1 comes to mind... but for the most part, men are better equipped to lead nations and if necessary, face down crises and lead wars.

Dude...you owe me a monitor, I just spit diet coke all over mine. Could you send an email alert when you start to walk upright?

The Germans and the French had a Christmas truce during WWI. They even exchanged gifts. Men were managing that war. Would Margaret Thatcher have permitted that?

Correction -
That was the Germans and the British who had the truce, not the French.

I suppose not if it was that time of the month...maybe the rule should be only post menapausal women can run countries.

Let's back up to the Isaiah Shalom lawsuit, involving Leeland Eisenberg and a few other inmates.

Cursory searching on Isaiah Shalom shows he was a MIT grad, retired in 2002 from law, and was a master bridge tourney player. This is assuming it's the same lawyer.

Read the 2003 final lawsuit, and you'll find it has Shalom giving a couple of the inmates $9K in the mid-90s, which then goes to Eisenberg so he can invest it in stocks and bonds. If this is the "mentally unstable" guy the media portrays, why is an MIT grad giving this much cash to an inmate for investment?

Dunno... seems there's a lot about Eisenberg and his past dealings to be learned yet. But from what I've seen at the moment, I'm not so quick to dismiss him as a wacky crazy domestic terrorist. And if all these names are the same people, Eisenberg was an opportunist, well connected with MIT grad lawyers. A bit odd, all this, don't you think?

"--- Dude...you owe me a monitor, I just spit diet coke all over mine. Could you send an email alert when you start to walk upright? ---"

I will do no such thing :P

I've been walking upright for the better part of half a century, and it's not my fault you are drinking a substance laden with carcinogens near your computer.

And I won't touch the sweet soda either... that stuff will go right to your hips. Unsweeteened Green Tea (Sencha) for the win!
